[ My wife and I wanted some sort of shelter for car camping that we could cook under. Most tarps are larger than what we need, but this is perfect. Setup is a breeze using the three poles. There are various options for attaching the front to your vehicle. Two stakes allow for attaching the rear. We set it up with our Rav4 hatch open and have no problems opening/closing the hatch with the shelter in place. There's lots of space underneath for cooking and hanging out. One could easily fit four camp chairs under this if needed. We 've only used it twice, but experienced torrential downpours on both occasions and remained perfectly dry sitting underneath it and chilling out. One of the best shelter investments I 've made in the last 45 years.

I have n't used this at the beach or in high winds yet, so I ca n't comment on its durability in those conditions. I 've used it in moderately winter conditions though( 15 mph or so) without issue. I spend an enormous amount of time at my kids' outdoor sports events, especially soccer where there is no shade. This umbrella is perfect for that. Two folding chairs will fit under this even without the ground stake pole attached. Just open it like an umbrella and throw it on the ground and it's ready to go. But if there is wind, you 'll want to use the included anchors. It's also very light for the long walks to the field.

I bought the grande online from Dicks sporting goods, picked up at the South Portland store, same day. Set up was simple, stretched it out in an X pattern, flipped the cord under the sand bags and filled with sand. Poked the poles under the front corners, adjusted the bags a little bit by stretching out, then dug a small pit and buried them. I 've been doing this for three days in the coastal winds and it's been getting more efficient each time. Zero issues, stays put for hours with shifting winds when set up properly. Take down is just as simple. Storage bag is compact. 5+ stars, I 'd buy it again without a doubt and have not received anything for this review.

We had to make an unplanned purchase when our very expensive canopy was ruined in a pop up storm. This one is so much lighter and easier to set up! Bought this Neso Grande Beach shade to spend time with my grandson and family at Atlantic beach. We travel by plane to visit and the tent was easy to put in a suitcase( lightweight and small). The tent was easy to set up. The first day was really windy and we did have to add extra sand to the bags so that the tent sides would stay up. The next day was not as windy and tent stayed up wonderfully. I am considering getting the extra two poles, however they are not necessary for the tent to work well. The fabric is strong and the sand fell off easily for packing. We had five people under the tent so I would not reccommend any smaller of a tent for this many individuals. I love the color that I purchased.

I bought this to replace an old pop- up which had bowed, bent and broke at the middle brace points. I bought this one specifically for the reinforced braces in the middle and it did n't bow in once even during a rain storm in the mountain of Southern CO. The vented top was perfect for the wind, which was n't super strong, but was moving the top quite a bit! Really liked the idea of closing and opening these vents. Even had one side closed& the other open during the rain so it would n't come in us while we were cooking! This has been my go- to hat for years. I 've worn it so much that the color has faded. I really like how the skirt can be unbuttoned from the brim and let hang- it provides an additional ventilation option. I also like the draw cord- again it allows ventilation options. The open floor allows the kids to play in the sand while still in the shade and then we can zip it up to keep our valuables somewhat safe when it's time to go play in the water. We have easily hosted six seated adults plus several kids sitting on the sand for lunch. I previously had purchased an ozark canopy and was in need of panels for it to use at craft fairs. I was worried that this might not fit because my canopy was another brand, but these fit perfectly. The fabric is pretty sturdy as well and kept the sun off of us and the wind mostly out. The only thing I did not like was the velcro. While it did hold the panels in place, they felt a little flimsy and when the wind picked up, the velcro did not hold as strongly as I would have liked in some places. That being said, I have been very pleased with this product and would recommend it as a lower cost option for those who already have a canopy.

[ I am so excited to use the Manta Pop Up beach tent for the rest of this year! It's incredibly lightweight and literally pops open as soon as you take the strap off of it. You 'll want to make sure you have stakes or something to weigh it down with once you are set up. There's a back window that can be opened for more ventilation throughout the tent. Sand easily falls right off of the slinky nylon- like material. There was a bit of a learning curve to get it closed, but once you watch their YouTube video it really helps you get it down. [ Overall: I would recommend this grand shade caster system. Would I buy it again? Yes I would but I would also like an option for a extra large version. We shall see how long term this will hold up. I am hopefully and looking forward to using it more. Pros:- very lightweight- provides shade very comfortably for 2 people, chairs and stuff. Add another third person and it becomes a very tight fit. A forth person, no way.- easy setup and breakdown- looks good too- 6 tie off points( instead of just 4) which is crucial for this kind of tarp shade system.- comes with stakes and large and long plastic screws- really great company customer service( I had a major issue with my shadecaster right out of the box but they fixed it super fast and zero hassle) Cons:- slightly smaller in size to other comparable tarp shades. At first I was disappointed with the cheap rubber chin strap lock, but it works out OK.
