I have been looking for the perfect visor for several years after my favorite was discontinued. Most of the ones with wider brims were just too big and made me look silly. I have a very small face. And you take off in the wind like the flying nun. These visors are the perfect length for keeping the sun out of your eyes. I love the lightness; however, I ’ m not sure how they will fair in strong winds. I also wish they had more colors to choose from. I like the light gray, however, it didn ’ t allow me to tighten it enough; The light purple was easier to tighten to my needs. Another way visor would be even better is to have a terrycloth lining on the inside of the headband.

This has been my go- to hat for years. I 've worn it so much that the color has faded. I really like how the skirt can be unbuttoned from the brim and let hang- it provides an additional ventilation option. I also like the draw cord- again it allows ventilation options. It might have been nice if the strings were removable, in case you did n't want to wear them all the time, but I can just tuck them up inside the hat. With the cinch cord on the back, it stays on your head pretty well even without using the strings below your chin.
