My kids last Christmas had given me a pair of air Force 1 sneakers. They just seemed to hard& what I thought like crunchy feeling! I 'm 46& have a wide foot& need comfort!! I had tried on a low high top blazer first& saw these on a clearance shelf without a box and tried them on& that was it I was sold! The leather is so soft the platform adds so much more padding then the low ones& I just throw them in the washer with laces& they come out brand new after! The only thing is they take alot longer to dry so I use a boot dryer and I 'll leave them over nite on that& by am they 're dry! I 'm around a size 8. 5 /9 because of my wide foot. These are a size 8& there was only one pair available at the store so I was thankful they fit but was nervous they may need to stretch out or cause discomfort while breaking them in but it was never necessary! I tie the laces and put the tongue over the laces so I can just slip my foot into my sneakers. A year later the back ankle part is n't as strong as it was new because I slip my foot in but I just wiggle it in& my foot is secured& does n't slip out! I agree with many many others whom are n't a fan of the exposed foam tongue on these sneakers but honestly I do n't even notice it anymore! They 're are a beautiful made sneaker with beautiful soft flexible leather in my opinion far superior to the air Force 1 's including the specialty air Forces they make I 've bought my 21 year old daughter 2 pairs in the past 2 years both different specialty ones& they have split wide open on sides mean Walmart sneakers would last longer& my 17 year old son has had his high top low blazers for a year& half& he throws them in the wash& they 're new again!! I 'm shocked at the lack of quality of the air Force 1 sneakers especially at their price& being considered a collectible sneaker the last pair I got my daughter started splitting open in different areas within 5 months of receiving them!! I love these slip on shoes. I did, however, originally order size 7. 5- my usual size in all Cerelle shoes and boots. However, I had to return them and size down to a 7. There is some give, and because of the slip on nature of the shoe I think they run a little bigger. But I love them- they ’ re stylish, and go with any kind of outfit. Very comfortable for daily wear- I wouldn ’ t suggest running or jogging in them.

Love Sorel footwear! Always a size 7. 5 but for these slip on sneakers I had to return them and get a size 7. Perhaps because they do slip on they were more prone to feeling a little too loose. Finally a blister free running shoe. I recently bought a pair of lone peaks for hiking and fell in love. So when I decided to start walking again I looked into Altras. I loved them. Then I decided to start running. These via olympus are absolutely perfect for me. So happy. Not thrilled with the colors but at my age I am more interested in fit than looks. One other small note, the pair I received had a small smudge on the fabric. I 'm sure I could have swapped them, but shoes get dirty anyway and so it was n't worth the effort. That being said, I will buy another pair when these wear out.

These are my comfiest Ryka 's and I own several pairs of Ryka 's in different styles. By comfy I mean soft and cushiony. These are not extremely supportive like Hokas which can be stiff. I walk over a mile to and from work on city sidewalks and am up and about all day. These shoes help keep me moving.

The Devoted Walking Sneaker 's design is brilliant. At first, you think, what 's with this toebox! The width feels just right but the fabric top is oddly roomy with airspace above your toes. The fabric is not stretched tightly, so it 's a bit loose. Your toes can move. Toe bumps are n't rubbed. PLUS the heel is snug. So, when you lace up, your feet stay put and do n't shift around. The snug heel plus roomy toebox mean your metatarsals do n't get pinched or achy. ALL THIS, PLUS the shoe bed is super comfortable with incredible cushioning front and back. For me, the cushioning is so good that I do n't even need my custom orthotics for bad metatarsals, something I 've required for 30 years. fyi my other favorite Ryka model for daily use is Devotion X Walking Shoe, which provides a fit that 's more tailored with fabulous cushioning, also no orthotics needed. I wear my Rykas for everyday/all day use, long walks, and driving( 5- on- the- floor w/ firm clutch).

My feet didn ’ t move around or feel unsupported. My feet feel great after hours of walking. I ’ ve had a few pairs of Norvan shoes in the past that I really liked, but this new update is the best. I unfortunately don ’ t live near much off road terrain and end up using these a lot on pavement, but even for pavement, they ’ re quick, durable, and adapt well to road conditions. They ’ re also pretty grippy in snow and icy conditions. The shoe laces are a bit slick, but there ’s a little pocket on the tongue of the shoe where you can tuck the laces to keep them tied and out of the way. One of the best aspects of these shoes is how washable they are. I have a light pair that I get pretty muddy and they clean right up with a run through the washer.
