I 'm usually a large men's and a medium fit me perfectly and very loose which is what I wanted. I needed substantial weight and space for my workouts- I noticed shoulders were getting tighter on my other shirts and this gave me space to breathe. If you have wide hips or a belly the cut is generous and wo n't hug down low either. Breathes well even in hot weather( i do n't get overheated while wearing it) but this is not a performance shirt so if you need the best I 'd recommend a thinner fabric. 10/10- I bought 3 and immediately bought 2 more. I picture wearing these when the temps are really cold or on a night by a fireplace lounging around. One of my preferences is it contains cotton, not 100% polyester.( Thanks UA for offering cotton content products.) I 'm not sure why I selected large. Maybe, I was thinking I will be able to fit into these someday. Turned out I did n't need to wait. I was very surprised they fit me. XL would be oversized. As for length, I would say at the end of the legs the slack is about an inch. I am 4'11 '' and have been told I have short legs. The waistline comes up to my navel. The inseam reaches me just right. Now, once I drop extra body fat around my waistline, then, these would fit perfectly. Going to get another pair in a smaller size. I am that optimistic.
