The fit is snug without being restrictive, and it gives great support to my upper body, especially the core and shoulders. It wicks sweat really well and stays light even during intense sessions. I like it for street wear, but not for the gym. I made the mistake of wearing this to the gym today to do HIIT. The sweat made the shirt very heavy and wet and cold, it was not a comfortable experience. BUT, outside of the gym context, I think the material used is very solid and feels appropriate for the price of the garment. It's a cotton blend and the weight of the fabric is on the heavy side. For shirt sizes, I am generally between a medium and large so I ordered large because I thought I would use for the gym... well, now that I 'm not using it for the gym, the large is more boxy on me then I would generally like for street wear, but it is n't so bad that I would return it for a medium
