[ I LOVE these boots!! They are so comfortable. I wore them on a 6 hour hike and had zero blisters or pain! They stood up well to mud and gravel. Their traction was great and I didn ’ t slip on any rocks. I would absolutely recommend this product.

5 sabrinav9474_7772
[ Love these Keen hiking boots. They are more lightweight than my last boots which made for more comfort. Four mile hike and my feet felt great. No break- in time needed. I like the ankle height for added protection as well. Through dirt, rocks, grass and more every step felt secure. Can ’ t wait to get more miles in!

5 Martha W.
Comfortable and keeps feet warm. Have n't been hiking on a trail yet. I like the boots. Hope the laces are more sturdy than they appear. Glad that I ought them!

5 amyl625_4
[ These boots are so cute! I love the look and fit of them and have already taken them out on multiple hiking trips. I often struggle with shoes not being wide enough for my feet but these are super comfortable and the treads make sure I don ’ t slip.

5 cookie_michelle_7139
[ I am definitely feeling these boots! I am not a hiker but these came in handy with our inclement weather. They ’ re lightweight and waterproof and I wasn ’ t too worried about slipping with these on. Sizing was perfect which I don ’ t always get right having flat feet.

5 Beannie
I bought these hiking boots today and came home to take a hike. They were the most comfortable hiking shoes I have ever bought. No break in period, comfortable right from the start. Would highly recommend them 👌.

5 Somi
I bought this a month ago and have been breaking it in. They are very comfortable especially for someone like me who has flat feet. I spent the last weekend hiking in New Hampshire amidst really crappy weather and boy! Was I lucky to have these shoes. They are completely waterproof and kept my feet dry and warm throughout. I 'm glad I got these.

5 Sandy B
I love these hiking boots. They fit perfectly, they have great arch support and they were extremely comfortable right out of the box!

5 Toni
I have been hiking daily for over 40 years in leather boots. I decided to try a boot that had a little more cushion and a more generous toe box. These have fit the bill. Not being leather I hope they last and remain waterproof.

5 Leigh
Happy with these boots. Light weight and comfortable. Good grip.

I ’ ve been wearing these hiking shoes on every mountain trail I ’ ve tackled, and they ’ ve quickly become the best pair I own. The rugged outsole grips loose rocks and muddy slopes with confidence, while the waterproof membrane keeps my feet dry even when crossing icy streams. Thanks to their snug yet flexible fit, I never feel any hotspots or blisters — even after a full day of uphill climbs. What really surprises me is how well they perform off the trail, too. During my winter commute through the city, they provide excellent insulation and great traction on slippery sidewalks. Plus, their sleek design gets compliments everywhere I go. If you ’ re looking for one shoe that can handle both alpine adventures and cold- weather urban wear, this is it!

5 Susana
I love them! Size down tho!!!! Super comfy and durable

5 Michele
Hiked all over Iceland- rain, sleet and snow…very comfortable and stayed dry! Love the boots!

4 D Skater
I bought these for a trip to Scotland where I expect rain most days. I tried them out at home here and found then to be perfectly waterproof. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I gave them a 4 star because the `` tongue '' at the closure does not easily tuck back under the boot side when tying the strings... and the strings need to be double knotted to stay closed... and that does n't always stay.

I bought these hiking boots for my girlfriend as a Christmas present. HOKA has always been known for their exceptional quality and durability and these hiking boots did not disappoint! She has already worn them several times, as she is an avid hiker and has expressed nothing but total satisfaction. She has stated the comfort and durability are beyond compare. She would absolutely love another pair next year for Christmas again!

5 Emma B.
I ’ ve worn these boots out hiking a few times now. They ’ re comfortable and sturdy. No blisters, even straight out of the box.

5 prisila_3171
[ I ’ ve only been able to use these a couple times but overall I ’ d say they are super comfortable and durable. I wore them once all day in nature and I will say I was surprised how well they supported. No pain. Definitely recommend

5 Jo
Put them on and immediately can hike in them with NO breaking in ever! Great waterproofing for a year or so; do seem to come apart at the seams though after about 2 years so I replace since I love these boots! New ones though seem tougher. Please do not ever get rid of the Targhee boots!

OBSESSED is an understatement for these shoes! I absolutely love these boots, they are so comfortable. I got them for a few hiking trips I had coming up and they did not disappoint. No breaking in necessary ready to wear right out of the box. My old Merrill ’s were bulky and heavy but these are so comfortable and light. Did an 8 to 10 mile hike in them back to back no problem. Definitely recommend will not disappoint. Water proof, kept my feet dry during the rainy season hikes I did. Also the color is super cute, I got the grey ones and they matched with everything.

5 Pocahantas
Immediately helps with back ache- i love them and may get another pair

5 Irongirl56
I love these Merrells. They are sturdy, stable and feel like a running shoe. This is my 3rd pair. I have these also in a wide and is a low quarter version. I use them for hiking, dog walking in the rain and snow and walking around our land. I have used them in pouring rain and my feet stayed dry. I dont think they are sturdy enough for heavy backpacking but for a light day pack, no problem. Size wise I usually wear a 9. 5 in running and training shoes and I ordered a 10 in these and they were good. I prefer the wide version though as it gives me just a bit more toe box room, not necessarily extra width but roomier. I am hoping these will break in enough to be as comfortable as the wider version. But a great comfortable boot overall.

5 D-Nice
These are my favorite shoes I own! The do everything they say and are super comfortable.

These boots are the best for work. Comfortable, light weight and tough. I wear them while landscaping everyday, pushing down on a shovel, scooping rock, planting shrubs, getting about 20, 000 steps a day and never tired feet. I highly recommend these. At that rate they last about 6 months until the soles wear out. Well worth the money. I 've been buying this boot for about 7 years now.

5 Mem
Hiking through Petra and icebergs in Alaska is a breeze in these.

5 Mshopaholic
Amazing comfortable hiking shoes that fit like a glove day one. I hiked Yellowstone and put on 85000 steps on them in first 5 days. I did order half size bigger to accommodate the thicker socks. I love that they have lots on ankle cushioning, making the walk and hike on trails smooth. Overall, I give it a 5+ Thank you Merrell!

5 Hiker girl
Love these! The fit is perfect. Have been hiking many northern California trails with elevation, caves, rocky steps, water, etc and they handle it all! Next trip is the Camino de Santiago with them.

5 Dana Vranish
BEST BOOT EVER!!!!! Wore them hiking in Utah … went to Moab, Zion, back country everywhere… Hiked for 4 days and NOT one blister, boots grabbed the rocks, the unstable terrain and anything else that came along …THEY are so comfortable I can ’ t EVEN explain … BUY this shoe. I bought these for hotter climate like Arches, Bryce, and Zion parks to hike and for longer distances. Unbelievable comfortable and lots of traction I needed. Love these!

5 DP
Finally found a hiking boot that works for my wide foot and narrow heel! So comfortable... feels like wearing a running shoe. But has the support, durability, GTX and traction I like for hiking on snow, ice, and dirt. And waterproof+ zero drop too! Lace system makes it easy to adjust for different socks. Just feels good to wear, which I have not yet found in a hiking boot. And I have tried a lot!

4 JJ
I wore these hikers during my recent trip to Northern California. My feet stayed dry during heavy downpours of rain on trail hikes and walking on the beach. My only problem was the tongue on my left shoe rubbed against my ankle. I wore thicker socks and that helped the situation.

Nice shoe and construction. Keen quality. Shoe runs large compared to another Keen shoe same size.

5 rustie a.
I purchased these shoes for winter hiking. I typically wear a size 8 but that changes depending on the brand. The size 8 I ordered fits perfectly. I wore them for a rainy day walk and as advertised, they are water proof! I am very happy with my purchase and have already recommended these Keens to friends.

5 William D.
Got these for my wife as a Christmas gift. Read quite a few reviews that said these run rather big, so I ordered a pair in her true size( 7. 5) and another pair( 7. 0) just in case those reviews were accurate. She said the 7. 5's fit perfect, so for her, they run true to size. She absolutely loves them and they look great.

I love this hiking boot! I wore it right out of the box for a short hike on the AT and had zero foot pain! I have PTTD and heel pain as a result, as well as a slim and narrow foot and I ’ ve tried numerous boots that lacked support and never fit right. This is the first hiking boot I ’ ve found that ’s worked for me. This boot is helping me get my life back and be out in nature more, doing what I love. Thank you for this boot, KEEN!

5 Guy H.
I like these shoes very much. They are comfortable and look good. They are cushioned on the inside which is a big plus for me.

5 ALEXANDRA S.
Love these boots which I have been testing on various trails for a week. Instantly comfortable, Great grip. Decent looking. A bit lighter weight than my other hiking boots but ankle support feels equally secure.

[ I have been searching for a comfortable hiking mid height shoe and this is the pair! Haven ’ t hiked in them yet but they already feel great right out of box and walking around the house. [ Fits very well. Not too tight but stays snug enough on long hikes. Super comfy. Wore on a long hike down by the river with lots of rocks. The shoe did not slip and held up very well

5 rlwa
[ These are sturdy enough for light hiking and lightweight enough that I wear them everywhere, all the time. The toe box is spacious enough to accommodate my weird feet, and the inserts and good enough that I do n't have to replace them with orthotic- wear type insoles. The color fades quickly, but who cares? I have a sort of weird gait, so I wear down the outside of the heel sooner than I would like, but that happens with all my shoes. I do n't think it's a durability fault, because most of the sole retains its tread.

5 mountaintoad
These boots are quite comfortable. The insoles are cushy and have a lot of arch support. Went on a 2 mile walk and they felt good- will see how they are on a real hike soon

5 alineeeee
[ Great ankle support and suitable for rougher trails. The material is sturdy even where the shoe bends with each step. Not bulky looking and styling even for everyday wear.

5 DM in Illinois
This shoe requires no breaking in. I actually forgot I was wear hiking boots as they ’ re as comfy as sneakers! I generally hate hiking shoes due to their weight and bulk, but definitely don ’ t have that problem with the sypes. The ankle support on this shoe is lower than your typical mid, but it actually works better for me.

I absolutely love this shoe. It ’s my first hiking shoe/boot and my husband and I went on a climb just after it rained. Not once did I lose traction or slip. I felt perfectly safe and comfortable.

5 Gwen
These were so comfortable hiking in Arizona in varying temperatures. I even wore them at the Grand Canyon paved rim trail and some of Kaibab dirt switchbacks.

5 Jess
This was my first pair of mid hikers( I prefer ankle height) but I immediately loved how comfortable these boots felt when I tried them on. I bought them for a trip to Sri Lanka, and my first hike with them ended up being an all- day 8- mile trek in the rain forest – I didn ’ t know this going into the hike or I might have worn my broken- in boots instead! But these were sooooo comfortable and kept my feet happy all day. I wore them several times over the next couple weeks and every time was so happy I had decided on these boots. Also, I like that they are feminine without being too girly. Can ’ t wait to take them to Portugal next month!
