He started out using them in quad mode. They definitely helped his balance and he said they were comfortable. As his confidence grew he felt ready to try them in inline mode. Switching the wheels is quick and easy. They are held on by 2 bolts per skate which are easy to remove using the included Allen wrench. Once in inline mode my son spent another hour in the skates and probably would have kept going if we didn ’ t make him come in for dinner. As it got darker outside he really noticed the light up wheels and thought they were the best thing ever. Even after hours in the skates he didn ’ t have any blisters and he said they were comfortable. These skates are WAY better quality than other skates we ’ ve used. They ’ re sturdy and provide solid support while also having super comfy thick padded liners. The adjustable sizing couldn ’ t be easier and will provide years of fun.

The 2- in- 1 skates are perfect for our two daughters, ages 8& 9! We already have a two- year experience with the scooters from Yvolution 💯 and we were so happy to see they were now making skates! Both the skate and inline setups for the 2- in- 1 are working well for each kid, and it was very easy to swap the skate wheel setups out for the inline for our oldest. I love how the adjustable shoe allows for growth to happen. Our oldest was between sizes( 3- 4 US) and we landed on the middle adjustment to start for her.
