For the price, this is definitely a bargain. I was a little skeptical when the product came in but I ran water over it for 10 minutes and not a drop came through! It seemed to be breathable enough when my son wore it on a camping trip in 90 degree heat. The only negative is that it is a little bulky. However, I plan to buy another one for my other child.

We live in a hot climate so a cooler and breathable jacket was a must. The jackets are definitely cool and repel water perfectly. Im guessing they sized these with the idea that kids would be wearing jackets under? If that is indeed the case i would like to see perhaps a `` warm weather line '' where sizing is truer. END RANT.... I took the time to measure and help other parents. here are the results: Children's Small: Jacket: From Neckline to wrist equals 15. 5 inches. From shoulder to Bottom of the jacket equals 24inches.
