[ Bought these as a Christmas gift for my wife. She saw them in Jackson Hole and thought they were pretty. Not in her size though. I hope they fit. If not will put them on our mantle, cause they are pretty.

[ This boot is great for ankle stability. Even on uneven terrain, my foot and ankle have minimal or no movement. I did need a wide size, even though I normally don ’ t need one. They are stiff out of the box, but the stiffness eases if worn for a couple days. Roomy toe box and easily takes after market orthotics.

As I ’ ve gotten into situations that involve water these guys have definitely kept me dry the entire time! Finally found a hiking boot that works for my wide foot and narrow heel! So comfortable... feels like wearing a running shoe. But has the support, durability, GTX and traction I like for hiking on snow, ice, and dirt. And waterproof+ zero drop too! Lace system makes it easy to adjust for different socks. Just feels good to wear, which I have not yet found in a hiking boot. And I have tried a lot!

I wore these hikers during my recent trip to Northern California. My feet stayed dry during heavy downpours of rain on trail hikes and walking on the beach. My only problem was the tongue on my left shoe rubbed against my ankle. I wore thicker socks and that helped the situation.
