I ’ m on my second pair. They last about 14 months for me. But I truly don ’ t mind because these are by far the most comfortable deck boot/shoe whatever you wan na call it that I ’ ve worn. I compare the soul of the boot to one of the “ helm pads ” that are nice and squishy and comfy to save your feet back and knees on those nasty days running in a 27 ’ cc. With these no matter where you stand you have a helm pad under your feet. I ’ ve had many pairs of the original 6 ” xtratufs over the years and one pair of all black leathers 6 ” boots for work and the sports are still by far my favorite. I wear them every day…. my R toe leather sole boots are now relegated to the back of the closet. No comparison in comfort and fit. Perfect shoes for slipping on and walking the dogs around the yard or out to the mailbox. My last pair lasted about ten years. Much more comfortable than that Maine hunting shoe. Will buy another pair in a decade, give or take.

Great utility shoe for bad weather, comfortable and easy to just slip on, they also look good for use everywhere.

I ’ m on to my second pair after wearing out the first working my garden. Always ready at the back door, they ’ re comfortable, keep your feet dry, and versatile accepting wooly socks or bare feet easily. My Muckster Lows are as an essential tool as my best spade and trowel.
