I was looking for cargo shorts to replace the ones I had. In the past cargo shorts had a lot of pockets and were made of heavy cotton. It has been a while since I purchased shorts. I was looking around and found the HUK shorts. I was a little taken back by how light weight they were. I tried them on and was converted. They still have a lot of pockets; the material is very light and a bit stretchy. They are great for summer, light weight, stretchy, plenty of pockets and my wife says I look good in them. My favorite for trail runs and hikes. The length to mid knee is perfect. I sized one up because I like shorts with some room, but even so they have what I 'd call a `` normal '' fit. I do like the sized up fit though, very comfortable. The fabric has a nice texture, feels durable. The thigh pocket just barely fits my phone. The zippered back pockets were a good idea.
