As the weather gets cooler and wetter, it ’s very important to have proper footwear that will allow you to get through your exercise comfortably and confidently! This waterproof shoe also allows me to run as long as I want without stopping due to the elements. The shoes are very comfortable overall, I do feel as though they run a tad big, but I don ’ t think I ’ d size down. It honestly just feels a little big in the heel area; my toes were in a good spot in the shoe. I love the reflective piece! It ’s very innovative, looks really cool with that rainbow effect, and keeps me visible/safe if I run when it ’s dark. This boot the sizing has changed slightly they are smaller in the toe box. I went with a half size larger but I probably could have stayed with my regular size 10 and just broke them in. They are to me a light version on the quest boots that are much heavier and clunck than these. I 've bought a few different salomon hiking boots over the years and you ca n't go wrong if you are a day hiker with these they are agile and do n't slip dry or wet they get the job done and protect your feet in every situation. I like these a lot: They have a nice wide/not too wide footprint. They have good ankle support. They have great traction. They are very comfortable. The waterproofing worked well( as it should because they are new). My only complaint is that padding on the ankles makes them pretty wide at the ankle and that tends to catch debris and funnel it down into the shoe... so they are not my pick for places where there is a lot of trail debris.... or perhaps I should have used gaiters. But they are perfect for wet, slippery, or dry trail conditions and casual wear. To me, the picture makes them look like they have green trim: They are shades of grey, not green-- I was pleasantly surprised by that, and I think they are a good- looking pair of shoes.

The boots are great! Handled spring time in Colorado so raining, ice, sleet and then snow all in one day. I mucked horse stalls and had very warm feet while doing that chore. Kids go to a camp in CO where it rains a fair amount so rain pants are on the required packing list. This was the pair they had this year and they loved them. They were great because they were light weight and easy to pack. In terms of water protection they were as good as any of the previous ones they have used. I ’ ve been wearing Bondi 8s for a couple of months, and I love them. They are the most comfortable shoes I ’ ve ever worn! Although the chukkas being classified a boot still had the same comfort level as the bondi 8 and im excited to daily wear them!
