I bought these to use with my road bike, which has a cushioned but very narrow seat. If I go for a ride longer than 45 minutes, I usually am sore along my pubic bone. These shorts helped a lot with my 2 hour bike ride this weekend—no discomfort at all! I was also pleased with the fit. I ’ m 5 ’ 6 ”, 160lbs with most of the weight carried in my thighs, so I often have trouble finding shorts that don ’ t squeeze too much and don ’ t ride up. These were long enough that they grabbed my thigh at the narrowest part by the knee, and didn ’ t ride up because of the nonslip band around the leg opening. These have a mid rise, which is not what I normally go for because I ’ m afraid they will fall down, but these stayed put! I got a size M for reference.

This is a great trainer. It is made in the USA and the build quality is outstanding. Add to that, the unit is designed to be easy to assemble and simple to use. Clamping the bike in to the unit is a simple one motion process and the bike is firmly held. The wheel tension knob is genius! Just turn it until it clicks and you have the correct pressure on your tire. I have owned other fluid trainers, but this has to be the smoothest and most consistent I have ever used. It truly provides linear resistance that gets more challenging as your speed increases. I have not tried it with the Saris training tire yet, but the noise level with a standard road tire was minimal. The included speed sensor works well and paired immediately with the Rouvy app on my iPhone. I did have some issues mounting the sensor because the inside width of my rear hub is pretty narrow. Once I figured out how to best mount it on my wheel, I had no issues.

Very nice quality, as always I appreciate the quality of the chamois by Le Col, very confortable on long rides. It is given 5- 15°C but I find them very warm( warmer then the LC_CC Sport Bib Tights for example) so for me it's more suitable for 0- 10°C rides. I find they size a bit big, I usually wear size S but here I chose XS( I 'm 1, 63m/60kg) and they fit perfectly.

This is my favorite go- to jersey for cooler weather. The lining is soft and makes me feel so cozy and warm when riding in Northern California winter, fall and spring when temperatures can easily swing 20 degrees F on a ride. It almost serves as a jacket and that ’s how I think of it, and the medium works well for me for layering although I am just 5 ’ 2 ” and 116 lbs. —it is not at all floppy but snug and not tight. On the coldest days, I ’ ll layer it with a long sleeved base layer under, perhaps a short or long sleeved jersey and winter vest over it.

[ I am glad I went with my normal size( large) as these seem a perfect and stretchy fit for the 12- 14 size range. The fabric is very nice to ride in because it seems the perfect balance between compression and stretch. I was skeptical about the word spandex but it has a nice feel to it and I 've grown to like it more over time. It is not the cheap sort of nylon that snags but instead it has a softness to it and feels durable. The pants fit me right under the knee and there is no rubber grip, which I like. There is a band of fabric there which is fitted but also stretchy. I am 5' 9 '' and appreciate that the pants feel just right and not too short. The chamois is in a mid- range of density in my opinion. I wear the pants comfortably one day but the next day I switch to other shorts with a firmer density foam pad. Overall I am happier than I thought I 'd be with these pants and would like to have another pair.

[ I have 2 pairs of these knickers- one black and one gray. If you are debating between the two, DO N'T GET THE GRAY, unless you are a fan of sporting crotch sweat. I tend to do 20- 30 miles in these and do n't have any real issues. I 'm about 134 lbs, 5' 7 '', and have tried both medium and small sizes. The small fits me a lot better, where I do n't have fabric bunching around my rear. Hoping the padding does n't break down as quickly as the Breakaway shorts.

[ I bought a pair of the white Pearl Izumi sun sleeves last year and loved them. Problem: they 're white so they can pick up dirt and bike grime easily. After repeated use and washing( the seams came apart near the top armband as well), I decided to go with a black pair this summer.
