I like that it hits well above the knee. I 'm 5 '' 10 and I have had jammers that hang all loose around the knees. These are nice and tight about 3- 4 inches about my knees. I ordered my usual pant size and another one that was a size above, but wound up keeping the pant size one and returning the other. They are a bit tight but I find all suits eventually loosen up.

It's tight and form- fitting, just as a speedo brief should be, to minimize drag while swimming at the gym. I got a dark blue one, and a white one. The white one is actually thicker and more durable than the dark blue one and as such is just as opaque as the dark blue one. With the blue one, all that's covering your bum is a single, gauzy layer, while the white one feels less risque as it has two additional layers covering your bum. Despite the name, the side panels of these suits are more like 2 '', not 1 ''. Still, looks much better than the typical 3 '' briefs. You just have to have nice legs and butt to show off, because this suit exposes your bare thighs and part of your bum. The speedo does ride up a bit and have to adjust it after diving, but that's expected for any skimpy swimsuit.

Overall I like the fit and great navy color, but as others have noted, I recommend going a size up. I got my regular size and it was a bit too small but wearable. I got a second pair, a size up and it ’s better. Biggest thing is that the front lining is very narrow. I just bought a pair of speedos in the same design/style and the front lining is about twice as wide; the fit/support is a lot better with the Speedo pair, so I hope Nike adjusts this in future versions.

It's a generally awkward fit all around- especially in the rear. I did n't buy these for laps, however, just general poolside stuff- so perhaps this suit was designed more for those purposes, I 'm unable to say. I do like the suit though overall.

I know this bottom is for men, but I bought them for this Fall and paired them with a purple tankini top. I got SO many compliments from my class participants and many wanting to know where I got them. The size for me was the same as I get in women, so my guess is they run smaller for men.
