These are indeed shorts, however, I 'm a curvy girl( 5' 5 '', 180 lbs, 28 waist, 47 hips& I got a size medium), so I absolutely could not wear these in public nor to the gym because with too much movement or if bending over, the bottom part of my butt would be out. I bought these to use with my road bike, which has a cushioned but very narrow seat. If I go for a ride longer than 45 minutes, I usually am sore along my pubic bone. These shorts helped a lot with my 2 hour bike ride this weekend—no discomfort at all! I was also pleased with the fit. I ’ m 5 ’ 6 ”, 160lbs with most of the weight carried in my thighs, so I often have trouble finding shorts that don ’ t squeeze too much and don ’ t ride up. These were long enough that they grabbed my thigh at the narrowest part by the knee, and didn ’ t ride up because of the nonslip band around the leg opening. These have a mid rise, which is not what I normally go for because I ’ m afraid they will fall down, but these stayed put! I got a size M for reference.

I didn ’ t have high hopes for these( tbh i never buy nike because i just assume they dont make good running gear) but the magenta color short was calling for me. I sized up to a M even though the size chart says I should be a S, but i ’ m glad i sized up. These are EXCELLENT running shorts. The waist did n't fold over, even when i was sitting down. They did n't slide down during my 4 miles run/walk. I dont think i had to adjust the legs or pull the waist up even one time. There ’s no seem at the leg opening so i had NO chafing. I have always been a 6 ” inseam bike short gal, but i will be buying more 8 ” inseam shorts because of these. I want them in more colors! I think the only downside is that the side pockets are kind of small. I have the iPhone 13 mini, and it fits, but i dont think any larger of a phone could fit. The pockets are an appropriate size for gels, energy bars, etc. but definitely not the iphone pro max lol. Overall great running short!

[ Bought this a few weeks ago and tested on a 80- mile ride. Easy to use and stay with my feet( I wear 5 in sneakers and the smallest size this brand offered works just fine). Tip for people who has tiny feet as me, wear thicker socks.

[ After MANY road miles and many years on our original Pearl Izumi road bike shoes, my husband and I decided to replace our clips and shoes. Our only point of contention is that mine are cooler than his! The color and style is sweet with a muted gray and a little touch of orange. Everybody knows that orange is dope. It does n't hurt that they match my new Subaru, either. Oh, and the fit is perfect! Ride on, friends, and whenever you can be cooler than your husband, do not hesitate.

[ Amazing, amazing, amazing! So these are great for pregnant, postpartum, or anyone with a bit more in the front. I love the feel of the material and how they hug the skin without cutting off my circulation. I wear them during outdoor walks and in the gym. In both cases the pockets hold my phone, keys, earbuds, etc. I have fluctuated weight and at each stage I can still wear them comfortably. I have washed and put in the dryer but I would recommend for longevity to air dry only( or lay on top of a dryer). These are the best for extremely active people or for someone who wants to run a few errands. My favorite unconventional use is to wear to the airport layered under some sweatpants for extremely comfortable travel days.

I recently purchased this set in navy blue and am honestly so in love with it. The shorts have a real quality feel to them and aren ’ t too short looking while wearing them out( which is usually an issue for me). They ’ re decently stretchy, I would suggest maybe sizing down if you ’ re on the more petite side- I know for me, I ordered the small and can live with the little bit of room in the waist, but I know that some prefer a shapewear like fit for these types of sets. Overall, it ’s a great little fit and I kind of wish I got it in other colours lol. The regret is real.

[ Good shorts. My phone will fit in any of the pockets, although it digs a little weird if it's in a top pocket while riding. The shorts are a good length and do n't ride up. I like that the liner is removable and could be replaced with other liners. I am 5'- 8 '' and 173 lbs. I ordered a size 10 which is a bit snug but fits pretty well.
