I really like these! They are very lightweight, which is great since I searched for mesh insert leggings to use in hot weather. Even so, they are not too thin for squats, for example. Pockets on each thigh are great; sometimes I forget I still have my phone in my pocket during a workout. They say 7/8 length, but I think they are more like full length( which I prefer anyway). The waistband is high, which is great, but does roll down a little depending on what I 'm doing. I 'm glad I got two pairs in different colors( charcoal, and a pretty mallard blue).

I wore these on a long day of walking all day in 95+ degree weather and they were so comfortable! I loved that I could unzip them a bit at the bottom of leg for airflow. I sized down in these based on reviews. I usually wear a MD pant with Free Fly, but I am glad I sized down. They are `` fitted '' by sizing down, but no uncomfortably. Does not pull with sitting and I can tell they are already relaxing with wear, so I am happy I did size down. I think a MD would end up looking a bit looser than I would like with thise style of pant. I love the Canyon Clay color and the cotton is so soft and comfortable. Another great product from Free Fly!

This set is overall one of the best winter base layer fits I ’ ve had the chance to try out in the elements( as of yet). The fleecy layer inside isn ’ t too thick, so it will keep you decently warm while not feeling overly constricting( it won ’ t ruin or take away from your outfit either). If I was to give constructive feedback on anything, it would be that they are a little short in length( mind you, I ’ m 5 ’ 11 ”). So, I ’ m really not picky about that kind of thing( for leggings in particular). Especially as they do have a bit of stretch. I bought a pair of these pants about 20 years ago and wore them until recently when the lining started to deteriorate. I have a hard time finding pants long enough for my 33 '' inseam, but these pants are perfect! I 'm 5' 8 '', 140 pounds, with a slim build and the medium fits perfectly. I usually wear long johns or long johns plus another pair of warm pants under these and there is plenty of room. Everything seems to be about the same as my older version except this one has side pockets for my hands and I love that! I mostly wear them for hiking in the rain. Worth every penny and I hope these will last me another 20 years!

I ordered these in several colors because they are comfortable and work well at the gym. They are on the thinner side though and in terms of sizing, I would say buy whatever your regular size is. I normally wear a XL but I ordered the XXL because I did not want them to cling to my skin( I 'm 65+) and show every lump and bump. But, I really did not have to do this and could have easily just worn my regular size. Again, they are thin and do not hold you in so if there is something that you do n't want to show, I would say get them in the darker colors or you could size up.
