The material is really soft and doesn ’ t feel heavy. I only wore this top casually but I could tell with the material that you wouldn ’ t be too hot in it if working out. Being able to roll the sleeves up and adjust the zipper could help with the heat as well. The only thing I would probably change about this top, is possibly adding a zipper to the back of it to add in extra items you may be carrying when out and about.

Buttery feel against the skin and great as layer or on its own. Everything I 've had from the TENCEL line has a nice drape and skin fill. I still wear my classic heavyweight Carhartt tees, but these feel so much nicer on the skin. It would be great to see more layering options in this material such as tanks/undershirts to wear under more heavy duty workwear that tends to be more abrasive to the skin.

I have the Abisko wool shirt in the long and short sleeve models. When I had a bad fall in Argentina and broke my arm, I had on the long sleeve version. The arm was badly damaged, but the shirt still looks great. I look forward to wearing it when I get my arm out of the cast. Now I can wear only the ones with short sleeves and REALLY wish they came in other colors.
