This is the `` goldilocks '' between the Novablast 3 and 4 and my favorite version of the three. Best version of the tongue. It's gusseted, a bit stretchy, preforated, and a touch of padding at the top to help prevent lace bite. The upper is a bit more breathable, and traps a bit less heat. The best version of the midsole. It's a bit less firm than the 4, better energy return than the 3, and they got rid of the excessive protruding heel from the 4. It's surprisingly flexible for a high- stack midsole, so you can use this for runs, jogging or walking. Very versatile, quite stable and I like the `` track club '' color way.

I love these shoes! They were comfortable from the start, with no breaking in necessary. I am a walker, not runner but found I needed more squish and support while walking around the uneven and rough surfaces in my town. The sidewalks here are not great and non- existent in many areas so I ’ m on the road for much of my walk. These shoes give me the right amount of support, and my feet and legs feel happy during and after my walk. I also love the color. As a woman who needs a double wide shoe it ’s hard to find much besides black and grey, and that ’s just not for me. The Matcha/Celadon combo is bright and cheerful. The shoes encourage me to walk – I ’ m not someone who naturally loves exercise but does benefit from it. I need a little boost now and then to make it happen. I would recommend these to walkers who need some cushion between their feet and the road.

No shoe will ever be as good as the Gel- Cumulus 23, but I am very pleased with the GC- 27. Mile after mile of spongy comfort, excellent lateral support, great energy return. No need to frequently stop and re- lace or re- cinch. Some might find the tongue a bit short; I found myself tugging on it the first ten miles. I ’ m slow and been running for about a year. 175lbs. About 9: 50 min marathon pace. I didn ’ t want a carbon plate shoe, and decided on the SB2 for my marathon shoe. I have now worn for most of my runs. Long, tempo, recovery, threshold, and even intervals- and race shoes for my marathon. I think they ’ re awesome at all of those, except, maybe not best for intervals- though they definitely worked- just maybe not best suited for that. No hotspots or slippage or issues, comfort was awesome- and the rocker is great! Super comfortable and I know they helped me reach my marathon goal with way more comfort that what I had done the majority of my training block runs in.( Puma Deviate Nitro 2). Towards the end of my block my training shoes were wearing down and I bought the SB2 ’s as my race day event shoe. I ’ m now at 100mi and they ’ re awesome. They are very big shoes. I am a size 10, and the size of these seemed like they had a bit more room than I was used to and a longer design than what I was training in( Puma DN2 mentioned above). I even ordered/tried on a 9. 5 but those felt a little too snug. So I kept with the 10. I think they ’ re just a bigger shoe by design. But even with being large they feel so light and help me stay comfortable at my higher paces. Support and comfort has been excellent! Definitely was a step up in comfort after training in my DN2 ’s for the block.

Great every day running shoe. Not built for racing but absolute cruiser that will take care of your legs. The dual layer foam setup is soft but stable while being very smooth. Not a lot of bounce but a lot of roll with a perfectly placed rocker. I believe the magic is in the rocker position and grade combined with the midsole setup. I was consumed with the Nova and Superblast so I didn ’ t try the first version. Probably a good thing. I ’ m surprised by just how much I like this shoe. I just bought a pair for a half marathon coming up. They are not built for speed or a ton of action. They do have some action and forward propulsion but the shine in stability got longer than normal runs. Maybe go 0. 5 size up, they are slightly more snug than the Nova Blast 4s. just barely though. I really like this running shoe. I 'm slightly underpronated and the Gel- Nimbus 27 is great. Lot's of cushion and very comfortable for longer( for me anyway) runs of 5+ miles. One minor compliant is that the toe box seems slightly tighter than the GN 26, but hopefully it will stretch out a bit as they get broken in.

They are the best shoes for our trip to Greece! I have had this particular style for many years and each time I put them on, it is like walking on a cloud. They are very comfortable from the very first time I wore them. Putting on over 10, 000 steps daily in Greece, I visited ancient ruins, walking over cobblestone and rough terrain for 12 days. I was so glad I got this brand again. My feet were able to not sweat due to the uppers being breathable. The arch support was great. I have an extra wide foot and weigh 270 lbs. The GEL- VENTURE shoe last me an honest 9 months. I use the shoe for every other day use including the gym and walking. I ’ m a 5 ’ 10 ”, 170lbs, 54 year old male with a marathon PR of 3: 15 and have been running marathons for 14 years. Ran my 20th marathon two weeks ago and nearly set a new PR! I bought the Metaspeed Sky a couple months out from my race and put roughly 40 miles on the shoes at race pace during training. Was really skeptical at first because the soles r so plush, but running, they r very responsive. Super light and almost feel unstable standing in them. However, running for me, at 7- 7: 30 min/mile pace, they were fantastic. After setting a PR 7 years ago, I nearly PR ’ d again with these shoes. I was less than 30 seconds shy. Fit for me was good. Snug in the heel and mid foot, just enough room in the toes. Looking forward to racing in these again.
