'' We did n't rate durability, because the shoes are new still, but he does wear Carhartt work boots. I just purchased these sneakers and I am pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these shoes are. I have never had any safety toe shoe or boot be this comfortable. I also like the fact that you can slip them on and off without having to tie and untie them every time, which is super convenient for the application for where I am wearing them. When I first got them out of the box they felt heavy but when they are on your feet they are not heavy at all but like wearing regular sneakers with the benefit of the safety toe. I am more than pleased with the purchase of these shoes and I would highly recommend them to anyone requiring a safety toe shoe in their work application especially if you do a lot of walking and comfort is something you are also looking for.

I bought these shoes in place of my red wing composite tenis shoe and I have to admit these are by far my new favorite work shoes. the shoes are very comfortable, usually i wear inserts in my shoes because of discomfort during 10hr shifts but not with these. Great fit, easy on and off but stays put while moving around, these are definitely stretch fit, the laces seem to be decorative in my opinion. Materials seem durable so far, I especially appreciate the extra protection around the `` accidentally kicked a pallet corner '' area. The soles feel like I 'm standing on a fatigue mat even when I 'm not. If I had to complain the outer side of the arch support is very high which has been painful for the first hundred hours or so of wear but it's getting better as it collapses. Overall a much lighter and comfortable alternative to the traditional steel toed work boot.

The Carhartt Ironwood boots fit exactly right, and are unexpectedly comfortable. The soles absorb shock and are comfortable all day. The insulation is just right too. My feet usually sweat in boots, but stayed very warm did not sweat in these. The only improvement I would make is to use something other than hiking boot laces. I ’ m very satisfied with them and would highly recommend.

The wide fit is excellent. I even have enough space to spread my toes or wear toe spacers. Super comfortable, they feel pretty durable and they look nice, already got several compliments and I 've only had them for two weeks. I wish the laces were thicker and softer but it's not really a problem. The only place I feel a little discomfort is around the ankle but I assume as I break them in I wo n't notice the ankle cuff anymore. Very satisfied with this purchase and will be coming back to Carhartt for boots once I destroy these.

These are the most comfortable lightest most durable work boots I 've ever owned. I 've tried Red Wing, Timberland, Wolverine... these boots are the only ones that hold up to the daily beating that I give them. I love how durable they are and how easy they are to clean. I only have 2 small complaints, but being the best boots I 've ever owned... Carhartt will still get a 5 star review. 1. The laces need replaced after roughly 3- 6 months of use because they get shredded under the duress of tying and tightening your laces daily. 2. Being waterproof comes in handy often, especially when working outside. But it does mean that if you have sweaty feet, it keeps the sweat in too. Not quite as `` breathable '' as I would want. But like I said, I 've never found a boot to do a better job. So it is what it is.

This is a replacement for a previous pair. Best work boots I ever had. I have some foot problems so I need a good arch and support too. The previous pair is about a year old and no longer water proof. This pair is running slightly larger even though it's the same size. Regardless I 'm very happy with the comfort and quality of construction. These require no break- in period while many other work boots would take a while to feel comfortable. Highly recommended.

After lots of research I bought these boots for work. I manage small business with a machine and fabrication shop. I work in and out of the office and shop. I needed something that was n't big and clunky, but still protective. Also something that is good for standing on concrete. Great boot but I upgrade the insole. This is my second pair and im a hands on GC in Utah. I work new construction and remodels and these boots are great. I like them better than Brunt and they last. My last pair was over 2 years although they were hammered. Just picked up another pair and fitted them with some custom insoles. Very happy with this boot and will probably pick up another pair in 2 years. The sole wears somewhat quick but thats what you get when it's a non- slip sole that doesnt track mud everywhere. I 've been using Superfeet insoles for decades. In ski boots, hiking boots, running shoes, etc. After trying other brands, I 've always come back to Superfeet, with the exception of Sole Performance re- corked medium insoles, but even that's a toss up. Once trimmed, the Superfeet feel good from the start and continue to serve me well for quite some time. I use them for walking distances, standing on my feet all day at work and light hikes. I have other versions of Superfeet, some discontinued, some not, but the winner( for me) is the Superfeet Run Cushion Medium Arch. I use them in Clark's, Adidas and Hoka trail and running shoes. This is my third pair of Carhart's 6 '' Soft Toe Work Boot. I love them. They are tough, long lasting and comfortable. I use them for my everyday foot wear except dress occassions. I even take my daily four mile walk in them. I hike in them and hunt in them. For me, they are the best boot I have every owned in terms of quality. When properly maintained, they are water repellent. This would n't have been my third pair if I was n't completely sold on this Carhart product.

After experiencing heel pain similar to a time where I had plantar fasciitis I immediately scheduled time with a doctor at Twin Cities Orthopedics. He found that while I did not have plantar fasciitis I needed to strengthen my foot muscles& use an insole that would provide better arch support. Among the options he recommended was the Superfeet brand. I started using them& found some immediate relief for the pain. Worth the money, for me they lasted little over than a year but I work 12 hour shifts between 40- 60 hrs a week in a recycling plant in AZ and we are exposed to kinda harsh conditions daily( dry/dusty areas and wet areas with puddles too), not too mention the +100 degree summer temps we get so they worked fine for me. I got these 2 years ago and yesterday I was at the beach with my wife. I wore these boots to the Santa Monica beach in CA. Before you ask, I hate sandals and shorts, I will not wear them. As I walked with my wife by the shore, I avoided the waves because I did not want my boots to get wet. Well, my wife was enjoying the ocean water when she thought it would be funny to hold me in place as the wave hit my boots. They got wet and submerged to about the 6 '' mark. My feet were dry. I was confused and surprised, they did not let any ocean water in at all. So I figured, why not and I pushed it further, with about 3 second intervals of waves, they survived. Until the water went above the 8 inch height and then my socks got wet, which is understandable. So I wanted to write a review because it deserved a review because it did a great job preventing water from getting in. It was kind of fun to be honest but the salt is not great afterwards.

I work in a steel warehouse for a ten hours a day and comfort is a must for me. I have been wearing these boots for the past five months and since day these boots have been the most comfortable boots ever. The first day I wore here boots for my full shift without problems and these boots felt like they had been worked in for months before.
