I like these a lot: They have a nice wide/not too wide footprint. They have good ankle support. They have great traction. They are very comfortable. The waterproofing worked well( as it should because they are new). My only complaint is that padding on the ankles makes them pretty wide at the ankle and that tends to catch debris and funnel it down into the shoe... so they are not my pick for places where there is a lot of trail debris.... or perhaps I should have used gaiters. But they are perfect for wet, slippery, or dry trail conditions and casual wear. To me, the picture makes them look like they have green trim: They are shades of grey, not green-- I was pleasantly surprised by that, and I think they are a good- looking pair of shoes.

Had the normal one full day break- in period. This is my third pair and I keep coming back for them. They are rugged and durable and last a little over a year when used roughly for hiking, trail running and slogging through the mud. I compete with these a lot because they keep the water out( unless I go in the streams) and they hold up really well. The soles start to get thinner after 1. 5 years but I have n't found any others that hold up any better and still stay together like these Moab 3's.

I have had 3 pairs of the Encore Ice 5 over the years, and wear them daily. I keep one pair is for the house as my slippers, and another for short errands. My feet run cold and these are the one shoe with adequate support( unlike Uggs) that keep my feet toasty. [ My daughter and I received these the day before a trip. I did not want to take hiking boots with me. Fortunately, they fit perfectly for each of us. They were perfect out of the box. They were great on a five hour hike up steep cliffs and rock outcroppings. Hugged the ground. No blisters. No sore spots. Held our feet in place. I have a narrow heel but my heels never slipped. [ Super sharp looking and great for hikes. I had to get the 7's stretched out a bit, but then they fit perfectly( I 'm normally a 6. 5 but wanted room for socks). Have n't had a chance to test out the waterproofing, but I bought these for a trip to Belize in the rainy season, so I guess we 'll see!

This is my second pair of this shoe. I wore the first pair nearly every day, year round for three years until the soles wore down. Fit perfectly from day 1 and I used them for hiking, ordinary wear around town, and even to a casual restaurant dinner. Got many compliments along the way. I am male, wear a men's size US 6/Euro 39 shoe, and have difficulty finding my size, and a women's size 7. 5 works with this shoe. Asolo was a new brand name for me and I 'm sold on their quality and fit. The waterproof feature is a bonus, especially in winter.

Good replacement for Vaya
I bought this boot about a month ago to replace a previous model I had from Salomon. It was the closest to the Vaya. Feel is great overall, however the size is about 1/2 size too small. Ordered same size my old pair. That is the only complaint. I was a 6. 5 in the Vaya and believe a 7 in these would have been better. They are super light weight, rugged, super water resistant too

I bought these on Friday, hiked a hilly/rocky 3. 4mi on Saturday. My feet felt stabilized, but not restricted. I 'm recouping medial/lateral/posterior tendon issues in one foot and it does n't even hurt after wearing these! Very happy with my purchase.

They were a little heavier than I expected but was very comfortable wearing them all day especially since I did a lot of walking there in Europe. I wear a size 7 and purchased my normal size. Have been wearing Targhee xx's for quite a few years. Obviously, they have worked great for me, and now my wife has a pair. I wear them year- around, on snow, ice, wet leaves, steep hillsides.... They are functionally waterproof- I wear low- profile `` walking shoes ''- not for serious stream crossing, but fine for tall wet crass ''. Only problem has been delamination and eventually leaking. Will see how the model for IV performs- just bought 3 pairs.

I tried on 3 other pairs of Danner boots at the store and the 8. 5 fit right but they had a more generous toe box than the Adrika. So I had to send back my boots.
