[ I hike and walk my dog in the woods and I walk through rivers and streams a lot. I need shoes that: 1) Are supportive enough to actually hike in-- and 2) I can walk through and INTO muddy, rocky rivers and streams in( usually chasing my dog)-- and 3) Then keep hiking-- and 4) Have them dry overnight or faster so I can wear them again. It has been SOOO difficult to find these. `` Water Sandals '' are not supportive enough to hike in and THEY HURT, and are so open that all sorts of rocks and stones get into them and under your feet, and those rigid straps give me blisters. Standard `` waterproof '' shoes still let water in at the top if you actually submerge your feet-- and I do-- and get soaked from the inside out. And then take DAYS to dry. These shoes are closed with mesh( no rocks and stones getting in) and are MEANT TO GET WET and then dry quickly. And they actually are soft, and do n't give me blisters even without socks and everything gives me blisters!! WHY were these so hard to find? I would give 10 stars if I could, and have SERIOUSLY tried and tried to find shoes like these. You wo n't find them anywhere else( which I do n't understand).

The boot is fairly lightweight and rugged. Very simple boot without much to it. Fits true to size and is able to lace up securely. Not as stiff as most other wading boots. I like that it has the metal rivets along the eyelights for the laces. These boots appear as if they were made to last. I would recommend this boot to others. It was a tad bulkier than what it appears in the picture, but not excessively so. Fits well with a lot of good support. Easy to walk in for a long day of fishing.

Fit great easy to get on and off. I have mobility and flexibility issues and was able to tie them with no difficulty. Wore them for 7 hrs in 44 Degree water my feet were warm all day long. I need a cane to walk and these bots gave me an added to my ability to wade in more rocket water.

I wanted something to slip on for dog walks or runs to the store in Vancouver winter weather that would last at least a few years. I feel like these are very promising! Well made/heavy, and comfortable enough for walking, and the sole is not slippery. I am a size 39/8/8. 5 with a wide foot, but I do n't feel like I actually needed to size up to a 9 as recommended, but they extra space does permit for a thick wool sock.

I hope XTRATUF never stops making these. I recently picked up shifts at a restaurant in my town that has stairs! My 4yo loves how cute these water shoes are and the fact that she does n't have to walk barefoot around the water park. They helped her keep her feet safe from the rough floor in the various pools and they dried quickly to make walking around outside of the water comfortable as well. I will mention that after 5 hours of water play, her hind feet were red and almost to the point of skin breakage like what happens when you wear heels for too long. I would look into using a waterproof bandaid to protect that area. No problems when we were only in the pool for 2 hours. Size is pretty standard, she's 10. 5K adidas and 11K DSG fit her well. Great price considering they 'll be too small within a year( we made the mistake of buying a$ 40 pair of water shoes last August- spoiler, they do n't fit anymore). Overall, I would recommend these shoes.
