I normally carry around a stainless steel 25 oz. water bottle on my backpack and around in the car but it was a bit of a hassle for the gym. I ordered this bottle for that purpose and it fit the bill. I can mix in Amino Acid powder and drink easily from it. The cap arm has tension to hold it back when drinking and the handle is excellent. The rubber base is a great feature as well for stability when standing it up but it does n't fit in the car cup holder, the only downside. The texture on the cap is easy to grip. I 'm quite satisfied with my purchase.

I read the reviews before purchasing and almost went with the older model even though I really liked the color options and silicone bumper included with this one. Reviews said that the bottle sweated a lot and that the new ice blocker spout prevented water from flowing and the cap from being cleaned properly. None of that is true for me. Water flows just as it does from any other bottle I 've owned( perhaps even better than from my hydroflask lid) and the cap is super easy to clean. I love the silicone bumper, and especially love the carrying handle( makes multi tasking and taking it on walks super easy). I dislike drinking cold water so was searching for a plastic water bottle that was still environmentally- friendly( previously had a KOR water bottle) and this one fits the bill. It definitely does n't sweat more than my other bottle and it is absolutely leak- proof. This bottle combines every feature I was looking for( plastic, leak- proof, removable top to add ice, carrying handle that does n't stick upright, fits in a cupholder but still a good size, clean look with one color and unobtrusive logo).

This is the best running water bottle I have. It holds a lot of water and some light emergency stuff in the pocket. At first it was difficult to get any water out. So, I pulled the light gray center rubber all the way out, then reinserted it just until the tabs clicked into place. After that, water flowed much better. Also, I took a can coozie and cut the bottom off of it and slid the sleeve onto the bottle to insulate it.

Do yourself a favor when purchasing this bottle. There is a rubber o- ring locating inside of the cap. It has a pull tab molded into it on the mating surface( of all places I know). Carefully take a razor blade and remove that tab. Your bottle will now be “ factory issued ” leak free.

I own most water purification systems on the market. The Grayl is my latest purchase and is now my go to. I backpack in the north Ga, NC, TN mountains where water sources are usually close by but not always easy to get to. If I can ’ t reach the source, I tie paracord to the metal eyelet, lower the Grayl, fill it, pull it up and press the water through filter and I ’ m back on the trail in minutes. When I stop for the day, I use my Grayl stove to boil water in the Ultrapress to add to my dehydrated meal then use the same system to boil water for my morning coffee. I bought a second for my wife.
