Love that the silicone is painted on the glass. The silicone bumper adds a bit of slip and bump protection, especially when placing the bottle on a granite counter top. I do wish there was a simple cap, with or without a drinking spout, so the bottle does n't leak. For instance, my water bottle often ends up tipped over on the passenger seat of my car, and the current lid does leak, a little quicker than I realized originally.

This is the best running water bottle I have. It holds a lot of water and some light emergency stuff in the pocket. At first it was difficult to get any water out. So, I pulled the light gray center rubber all the way out, then reinserted it just until the tabs clicked into place. After that, water flowed much better. Also, I took a can coozie and cut the bottom off of it and slid the sleeve onto the bottle to insulate it.

I use this bottle for hiking and camping. I take it in the bottle sling and have the cup and the firebox nano in the pouch. I do not have any concerns when walking around through the woods away from my base camp. The very best bottle you could ever have and this is my second one. The one tricky thing was getting used to all the different pieces and how they fit together, I had multiple mishaps where the entire bottle spilled or leaked in my bag or on the plane. One I fully understood how all the pieces fit together and was able to make sure that each piece was properly screwed on etc, I did n't seem to have the problem. It does leak when under pressure though, either from electrolytes that fizz or from the pressure on an airplane.
