Tried the S ball recently. Usually play the Tour X. Both are great, but wanted to try the lower spin S to find more fairways with the driver. I 've used these for the last 4- 5 full rounds, plus a lot of putter practice and testing. I can objectively say based on some on- course testing and some putting green testing that my strokes- gained is better for both ball- striking and putting with this ball over the 2023 Pro V1( yellow) or the regular 2023 yellow Maxfli Tour. My driving is better, wedges are better, and most importantly for my overall scoring based on how I 've played the last year, my iron play with these is vastly improved. I have worn these out more than I 've lost them, which is a testament to how straight they are off the tee... but by wearing them out, I mean that after I play 18 holes with them, I 'm still getting more use out of a ball as a simulator ball, putting green ball, etc.

I have now played the new version of this ball for 6 rounds and I 've been playing Tour X for 4 years. This new ball feels about the same on long shots( firm), but noticeable softer pitches, chips and especially putts. I am a senior golfer with moderate clubhead speed( 95 to 99 mph). This ball is not supposed to be for my swing speed, but it just goes longer for me. I shoot the same scores with this ball as a Pro- V1. I highly recommend this ball.

I switched from the ProV1X to the Chrome Tour this winter and spring. Definitely noticed there is less spin on my drives, allowing for more consistency and distance. Even better when playing in windy conditions. The Chrome Tours still provides plenty of spin coming onto the greens. I like the fact that when playing from tight lies, the Tours back up generally 5ft to 10ft vs 10ft to 20ft with the ProV1X. The Tours fit my game best!

Honestly, this is my all time favorite golf ball. The Chrome Tour golf ball is a real game- changer. First off, the distance is amazing. Whether I 'm using a driver or my longer irons, it seems to just fly – consistently long, with a nice, piercing ball flight that cuts through the wind. I ’ ve noticed extra yards off the tee, and I can count on a solid roll when it hits the fairway. Also, this ball spins a lot on short irons into the green. The workability is another highlight. The ball feels responsive, and I can shape my shots with ease. Whether I ’ m trying to hit a fade or a draw, I have full control. It just feels great in my hands, especially when I 'm making those more touchy shots under pressure. But what really impresses me is the short game spin. Around the greens, it ’s fantastic. I can get my chips and pitches to check up quickly, even on firmer greens. The ball just grabs and holds, which gives me a ton of confidence when I ’ m trying to stop a wedge shot close to the hole. These are incredible! They are TP5s so they are automatically amazing! But now they have a tracker that my Sim picks up beautifully! I have always had to get pro VI RCT, so it ’s nice that Taylor made has this option now. I think it ’s a much better ball and I am seeing consistent results in the sim.

These really the the gold standard now! I ’ ve been a prov1 player for years and since callaway moved away from the chrome soft which was too soft for me. I have been playing exclusively chrome tour and chrome tour x depending on the course and they ’ re amazing.

I played this ball last week. First thing I noticed was how fast this ball came off the face of my TSI4. The ball played great in the wind. Greens were very slow coming off the winter, however it did n't over spin for me. This will be my new ball this year. Have been playing the Maxfli Tour 2021 for the last 3 years. There was just something about this ball I needed to try. Boy it performed. Now if only they would have done the 4 for 3. I would have bought the 4 pack already. Kinda disapointed in that.

I 'm impressed with what I have seen so far with the Triple Diamond ball. I was concerned I would n't have the greenside spin and hold I wanted based on how it is described, but around the greens the performance has been very good and on the same level for me as the Chrome Tour. With my irons, I am finding it very consistent in carry distance and launch, which is exactly what I want. It's slightly lower spinning than the Chrome Tour with the driver and all- around great ball. New gamer for me.

Bought these for my son who has a very fast swing speed( between 120- 135 with driver)... as such, he spins it quite a bit and these were EXACTLY what the doctor ordered, compared to the regular V1/V1x... combined with his low spin shaft, these instantly took about 250- 300 rpms off and he experienced about 10 yards or so difference

I picked up a sleeve of these to try along with a dozen of the Chrome Soft X. Im 53 and my swing speed has come down from 111 to 100 with the driver. I was expecting the CS X to be a better fit for me because of the lower clubhead speed, thinking I would need the extra spin and higher flight. However, the LS version blew me away. Unbelievable driver distance and extremely straight ball flight. I typically hit a draw that has recently turned into more hooks off the tee at times. I ’ m getting my timing back with the change in clubhead speed and this ball has helped with that because I know when I hit it it ’s going straight where I aim. Confidence inspiring, and it checks up much better than the CS X. Feel is solid off the putter and distance control is much better. I believe Callaway built this ball specifically for higher spin players like myself who don ’ t like to work the ball much and need extra distance off the tee. It ’s sad it ’s discontinued. I have several dozen to get me through this season and possibly next season tho. I get technology changing and ball development evolving but I truly believe Callaway should make this ball a staple in their lineup. Highly recommend you try this ball if you struggle with too much spin, especially with the driver.

I went with this ball after the My Golf Spy write up on it. I 've been really surprised from tee to green on how this ball reacts off the club face. It's definitely comparable to the top 3 ball brands out there and at a better price. It's not too clicky off the wedge or putter either. But it's firm enough to give you feedback on your strike. The only downside to the Matte is it stauns and scuffs easier than the Gloss version. This will be my ball going forward.

I switched to Chrome Tour X for more spin after playing Chrome Tour last year. I find the Chrome Tour and Chrome Tour X play pretty similarly outside of 150 yards and after that I start to notice the extra spin, and really notice it around the greens. I like the TruTrack version for seeing how the ball reacts around the greens.

The Callaway Chrome soft Tour golf ball is the best ball I ’ ve played with this season. It has the distance off the tee and controllable around the greens. The three allow me to easily line up my puts, without have to mark up the ball. I recommend the Callaway chrome tour for anyone who wants a consistent ball flight and consistent around the greens.
