I also needed it to be water submersible for swimming. It does everything as advertised. I took it swimming and went underwater several times with it and it isn ’ t affected. First of all, this is my second COROS in a year. I opted for the Vertix 2 over my Pace 3 simply for the expanded feature set and longer battery life. You will not be disappointed.
