[ I bought these a month ago and I 've worn them almost every day since then for rides between 30 and 80 miles. They are very comfortable and the stiffness of the sole has eliminated some plantar pain I was developing with my old shoes. The only objection is that the velcro straps are just barely long enough( I have wide feet). The shoes fit my feet well enough but only with thin liner socks- I 'm not sure these will work well for cold weather rides given my wide feet( and need for thicker socks).

Only issue is that it will tighten up tighter at the top nearer to the knob and be slightly looser in the toe box. The sneaker is nice for rocky terrain if I have to hike a bike and I like having a comfortable sneaker to walk in for when I bike places. I do have to replace them about every 1- 1. 5 years because the sole wears out but I do get a lot of miles out of them. If you live somewhere with 90+ degree weather all summer, you know that most mountain bike shoes are not made for breathability aside from XC shoes which are in general better ventilated. These are a great option for hot weather riding. I think they could apply a lot of the engineering of this show to the hellcat pro and make a knockout trail shoe. The lacing is much more effective on shoes with flexible uppers than typical mountain bike shoes that have become like stiff plastic over the past 10 years. Runs long... I bought a half size down( 11 vs 11. 5) after trying my normal size.

[ I 've used these 5- 6 times over the past month or so and have no complaints so far! The only thing I would have appreciated( as a first- time clipless pedal person) is a bit of help/instructions on where to install the clips on the bottom of the shoe for maximum comfort.

[ This is my first pair of actual bike shoes to be honest. Usually wear flat skate type shoes or trainers. I rode in these shoes twice and I can honestly say that there is a significant difference( maybe because I have n't worn bike specific shoes before). I love the shank in the sole, I feel like i have much better control and balance when hitting the bumpy rooted descents and techy spots. The soles are great for gripping flat pedals. I rode in wet conditions on one ride and never had an issue with slipping. I 'm running CB Stamp 1 pedals. I also found it easier to find my foot position quickly again if I need to take foot off and come back to. They fit true to size based on my recent experiences with shoe buying. Love the BOA laces. I was looking for a flat pedal shoe with BOA laces which appear hard to find. I found 3 different shoes and this pair was about$ 25-$ 50 cheaper, but with the same features. I think these are better looking as well in my opinion. I am extremely happy with them. Overall I 'm pretty pumped to have bought this shoe after 2 rides. Hoping the durability is up to par and they last for quite awhile.

[ Was looking for the perfect gravel bike shoe and I found it! Shimano comes with an amazing reputation for quality products and customer service( that I hope I never have to use). These shoes fit perfect right out of the box, were able to be adjusted for my two screw clips, and overall feel very secure with the boa closure. Not to mention they look amazing and have great grip when just walking around. Starting to put miles on these shoes but so far this is one of the best gravel bike pieces I ’ ve bought in a while.
