I threw away my 40 year old stationary bike and replaced it with this one. I am so surprised how quiet it is when I ride it. My old bike had a chain and made so much noise. I think the bike is great. Well built and strong. Seat is large and comfy. It has been over a year that I have not rode a bike so I am starting with less tension and will increase it in time. I like the tension adjustment and the easy height adjustments. I would recommend this bike. The bike was packaged very well and I was glad nothing was wrong with it since the box had seen better days in transit. I also chose not to keep the foot straps on the petals when I ride. Nice that you have a choice to keep them on or not. My friend was visiting from Taiwan and put the bike together for me so quickly since he works in the industry. I 've only had this trainer a few months, so do n't have a measure of its longevity; however, it feels very solid and I expect to outlast me. I 'm not a big fan of trainers in general( I MUCH prefer to ride outside), so I do n't intend to ride the trainer a great deal( bad weather, injury recovery, etc). So far, it's worked perfectly: smooth and quiet.

I am very happy with my purchase. I put it together by myself in about 30 to 45 minutes, only one bloody knuckle. I chose this bike for the flywheel weight, magnetic resistance, pedal q factor, and adjustable seat and handlebars. The only downside is the weight and I was n't able to bring it upstairs to my bedroom. The digital monitor is ehh... but still nice to have one. I would highly recommend.

I 've used the generic exercise bikes at the gym, but none like this. _x000D_ With no experience, I figured that I should get one with the monitor, with the SPD pedal option, a heavier fly wheel( because I 'm a large guy), more adjustable handlebars, and the magnetic resistance. This one met all my criteria in my price range. _x000D_ When I unboxed it, I was impressed at how solid and heavy- duty all the parts are. It was fairly easy to put together, took about hour. I found some youtube videos on how to __quote__set up__quote__ a bike( seat height, etc). The monitor is pretty easy to understand after reading the instructions and watching a video. _x000D_ The only complaint I have- and this seems to be universal with this type of bike- is that there's no good resistance indicator. I 'd be happy with any sort of indicator that would show how many turns or half- turns I 've made, to have a way to easily see what resistance level I 'm at. I have seen a few such things on Etsy so maybe I 'll get one. Bought the Mag+ trainer on sale. Not sure if they 're phasing them out for a new version or what, but the price was awesome. I also purchased the riser block and speed sensor. Probably could 've done without the block, as my bike is barely off the floor while on the trainer. The speed sensor works great, and able to use it with my Wahoo and the Rouvy app. As others have stated, the remote is not great. I discovered that tightening the screw in the remote helps it hold and not automatically close. Still have to be gentle when adjusting the remote. Overall, a great buy.

I generally dislike indoor training, and much rather go out for a ride and train outside. I purchased this inexpensive model as I needed for warm sessions at races( just got to try racing). The setup was relatively quick given there was some assembly required. It is also of solid construction and very stable when setup correctly. However, upon first setup I noticed the trainer was not working properly, mainly due to lack to attention to detail- allow me to explain.- Following the setup instructions would end up with a setup of LOWEST resistance of the magnetic adjuster, when the shifter is at the HIGHEST setting. So trying to decrease the resistance, or even increase it, with the control lever is to no avail. The solution is to set the manual resistance knob to the HIGHEST resistance level once the cable has been routed. I let Saris support know of this needed update to their instructions.- Another shortcoming was that the remote control lever did not have enough resistance to hold the LOWEST resistance setting when the cable has the most tension. The tension on the cable would just pull on the lever back to the highest setting. I initially thought I have gotten a workout controller, but it was sealed new when I unpacked it. I took on disassembling the controller and inspection the internal mechanism. It is a very simple ratcheting mechanism with bi- directional pawl. Although all made of plastic, everything was in good condition and looked new. The pawl is kept in place by means of a an arc shape that springs out and keeps tension on the ratchet teeth. There is just not enough tension on the pawl to counter the tension from the cable. I solved by inserting a piece of rubber under the pawl arc. The trainer works like a charm after these adjustments. Also, pay attention to the hidden feature of the rubber feet to stabilize the trainer on uneven surfaces, it would otherwise wobble. The instructions explain their use.

I got my trainer about a month and a half ago, and it works great. It's sturdy, holds the bike tight with the provided rear axle, has good resistance, and is actually relatively quiet on a solid floor. My only advice would be to not spend the extra money for the handlebar cable to change resistances. I did this, and found that it works very poorly, I took it off my trainer right after trying it out. I find the trainer performs best when I set the resistance at the highest setting and simply change gears as normal to vary my effort. Overall works great for inside spinning.

We did n't want to spend a fortune on a recumbent bike. We did n't need all the bells and whistles but we wanted the basics. This bike is it! It gets used daily for a minimum of an hour. Putting it together required being focused, but it was fairly easy. Once together, it is doing exactly what we bought it to do: getting adequate, easily done exercise for two older folks. I ’ ve got four 45- minute segments and it doesn ’ t give me the same accomplishment from walking outdoors in that same time without turning the resistance past 8 on the 14- levels dial, but I don ’ t miss my outdoor exercise when it ’s 22 degrees and 17 mph wind gusts make walking undoable. Quality of the bike manufacturing is very good. Seat is comfortable and the pedals are easy to secure your foot( adjustable). Pedaling is quiet and the distance from seat to pedal is variable by adjusting the seat height and should satisfy most riders. The bike is very quiet when pedaling so it can be situated in any room available. Overall, A+ so far.

I have only used it for 5 days and the left side peddle has developed an annoying clicking sound from inside the bike main body. This is very noticeable at resistance settings 1 and 2. As I increase the resistance setting the sound seems to diminish. When I peddle backwards and then resume forward the clicking is gone for about a dozen rotations then returns. I ’ m 70 years old so I use the lower residence setting ’s more often. I use my head phones, crank up the music and tada…… no clicking sound I just feel a slight vibration when the peddle passes the specific rotation point. Easy to put together no real problem. Solid build, except for the clicking sound.

The highest resistance is n't as strong as on a more expensive machine, but I feel it enough when I 'm pedaling. I research the rebuilding of my knee and shoulder. 3rd month I started bed exercises afraid of muscle atrophy. 5th month I studied peddlers. I choose the older Sunny model that is mentioned in the beginning of my story. I could only sit at the edge of my bed I could not walk. A friend helped me set it up. I researched peddling time and intention settings. First I started at setting 6 for 20 minutes first 2 weeks then split 30 minutes of 10 minutes intervals between 6 and 7 tension settings. Each month. The 6th month I peddled for an hour every other day for a hour. I knew I had nerve damage in my knee I kept my plan. Every passing month I did my bed exercises of leg lifts, scissor kicks and knee bends. 6 months ago I practiced standing my legs were weak. I started exercising every day peddling for a hour at tention 8. Exercising with weights and leg bed exercises. Today I am walking I peddle everyday 10 miles or over do the math. The Sunny peddler never broke down never quit on me. The only thing I changed were the peddles for better traction. I work in 3D modeling and animation. I am 71 I have no pain I take no pain killers. I smile when I look at my machine and my log book noting my milage journey. Sunny is a company offering an amazing product and I thank them.

The only thing to note, I am about 5'10 '' and raised the seat as high as it will go, and I can probably still use an extra couple inches. So if you are taller, it might not work for you.

Received my new recumbent cross trainer( SBE420035) 3/08/2025. Packaging is terrific. Every piece is individually wrapped, nothing rattled, and every piece was pristine. This is an awesome item. Functions like a much more expensive cross trainer. Smooth, quiet, electronics work, and Sunny Fit App is excellent. I can actually connect my cross trainer via bluetooth to the app and there are a myriad things to do. I would not hesitate to buy it again. Assembly is n't bad but the instructions in the booklet are confusing. Too many small numbers and letters and pictures. The video is better. Do n't let this stop you, the SBE420035 is a terrific piece of exercise equipment and Sunny Health is a fine company with excellent customer service. I 'm an 81 year old man who has been working out his whole life and am not easily impressed.

[ Assembly- went together in leas than an hour once I got it all unboxed. Make sure that you assemble this where it is going to be used. It weighs quite a bit. This is great for stability, but not very mobile. Function- very sturdy and easy to adjust for size and resistance. There is a noticable difference in each step from 1 to 8. I also like the fact that the arm and legs can( and should) be worked separately. You can pinpoint the proper resistance level for each. Extras- The screen is functional and gives you the basics, but not much more and that is fine for me. I know what I want to do for my work out and dont need to pay for a tour guide. Quality- As I said this is a very sturdy machine and even though I have only been using for about a month I have no doubt that it will last.

I ’ ve been using the NordicTrack G LE recumbent bike for a few weeks now, and I have to say, it ’s been a pretty great experience overall. The console isn ’ t anything fancy—it ’s pretty basic—but it gets the job done. It connects to my iPad via Bluetooth, which I love because I can track my stats and see detailed feedback during my ride. The info it gives is actually pretty helpful and motivating, especially if you ’ re working on improving your fitness. The seat is super comfy! It ’s got a good range of motion, so whether you ’ re tall or short, you can adjust it to fit just right. I ’ ve had no issues riding for extended periods, and the seat feels supportive without being too hard or too soft. I bought this for spinning to help with a knee injury, and it seems to do the trick. The bike is sturdy and comfortable and light enough to move around easily. It took about half an hour to put it together with very clear instructions. I 'm 5'11 '' and I 'm on the last adjustment hole. Someone taller might have to drill another hole, which might leave very little seat post remaining.

In New England months of cold weather exist. Consequently, I depend on my S22i strictly for MTB cold weather riding. I exercise six days a week with a mix of hiking and iFit biking. So please keep producing more MTB trail rides. FYI: Would like to see a handlebar design more in tune with a MTB riding posture. Refer to PIC for my modification. Purchase this upright in 2020 at the start of the pandemic when my gym closed. According to my husband it was easy to assemble. I rode it almost every day until I went back to the gym this year( 2021). Just as sturdy now as it was when I started riding it last year.
