My husband rides frequently… barehanded… and for years i have suggested he wear a helmet for his benefit and he was always quick to remind me i dont wear a helmet. I had a big crash on the White Rim trail that broke my collarbone and dented my helmet, left me with a knot above my left eye as well. My helmet was on tight and kept me from what could have been a terrible head injury. I will replace with same helmet when I can ride again. The ability to lock this helmet tight on my head was key. [ I began straying from mountain biking recently and got a Gravel bike. Wanted a lighter and more vented helmet and my Giro mtb helmet has always fit perfect and been so comfy. This is the same way! Consistent sizing, no hot- spots or areas where the cinch system pinches or stabs my head. Neither my husband or I wore a bike helmet in the past. This spring I bought an expensive bell helmet mail order and wore it two or three times before leaving it on the shelf for good it felt a little large too me and very uncomfortable. After i got my husband a speedometer this summer we noticed we were often going 20 mph or faster. After my husband came home From a solo ride where he said he was going particularly fast almost 30 mph( yikes) I told him that he should really be wearing a helmet and suggesting he try the helmet I had bought. I noticed my husband returned home from from his next few solo rides with my helmet. I finally asked how he liked wearing a helmet and he told me it was quite comfortable and made him feel much safer. He also asked how i would feel If he wore it while We rode together. I of course told him i was fine with that. After a few rides where he wore it and i wore my hat, I decided to buy another helmet, but this time i decided I was going to the store to try some on. I found the fixture in blue for a great price and loved the way it felt when i tried it on. On my first ride I realized how awesome it was to have a good fitting helmet. i was really happy with how much better it felt. Honestly sometimes I forget i have it on. Absolutely no regrets with this helmet.

My wife has had this helmet for several years. She wore it pretty regularly until this past summer. Last year she decided that helmets were unnecessary and did not really provide much protection and that their effectiveness was overrated. I never wore a helmet so it was no concern to me. Some friends i occasionally ride with wanted me to take aride with them but informed me i needed a helmet so i took my fifes old fixture. [ Absolutely love this helmet. Tried hard to go with either the POC Tectal or Kortal prior to buying this one and I 'm so glad I did! It fits like a glove and I totally forget I 'm wearing it while riding. It's by far not as bulky as the POC helmets and it also feels at least subjectively lighter. Love the color schemes as well and can not praise the fit of this helmet enough. Sizing is spot on and the magnetic buckle is also a plus.

I never wear a helmet when i bike. My wife owns several helmets and will sometimes wear one when we ride together, and she always wears one when she rides with her parents. Recently we were going on a ride with her parents. As we were packing up my wife said i had to wear a helmet and gave me her persist. When i gave her a funny look she said you know my mom is a nurse and obsessives over safety just wear it. I said okay and She helped me get it fitted. The helmet fit my normal male head and with some minor strap adjustments i was able to get a great fit. I snugged up the chin strap when we set off. During the ride It actually was very very light and comfortable very well vented and did not feel hot. It felt safe and i am sure i was riding harder than usual. When we were done my wife asked what I thought. I told her i liked it and was considering my own. She seemed surprised excitedly that i was being safe. She also told me i was more than welcome to wear it on any ride since she has multiple helmets.

As a loving wife I naturally worry about my husband ’s well being. The helmet is great. But like anything you wear, the fit is what counts. In my case, the front pushes my safety glasses down and out of my nose. My previous helmet did not have this problem. Again, I do not think it is a problem with the helmet itself, but you may want to consider visiting your Local Bike Shop( LBS) to buy a helmet you can try on with your glasses, etc.
