I ’ ve had these for about 3 months now and I must say they ’ re my favorite boots to wear for work or going out. They look great, feel perfect, and are so easy to get on or off. The only thing is I feel so nervous about ruining them because of how much I like the look of them. It ’s made of Nubuck leather so you have to be careful about water damaging the leather, they ’ re not water proof! Be prepared to have a kit to clean these boots every once in a while and keep the material from getting ruined.

[ These are sturdy enough for light hiking and lightweight enough that I wear them everywhere, all the time. The toe box is spacious enough to accommodate my weird feet, and the inserts and good enough that I do n't have to replace them with orthotic- wear type insoles. The color fades quickly, but who cares? I have a sort of weird gait, so I wear down the outside of the heel sooner than I would like, but that happens with all my shoes. I do n't think it's a durability fault, because most of the sole retains its tread.

I have fairly narrow feet and these fit perfectly and are very comfortable. You ca n't even tell they have a steel toe. My only complaint is the top lace grommet. It has a different type of hook so it is a little difficult to get the lace in it when it is pulled out. I still rate this as Excellent though.

They are better suited for the cold but I 've worn them all year long. I really ca n't believe how long they 're lasting. And I really ca n't believe they still have this model. [ This is my 4th pair of Oboz Bridgers. I use the 10 '' insulated for winter hiking and snowshoeing, the low for rocky terrain in warm weather, and have been running a set of Premium Mids for fall hiking. These things are incredibly well constructed, very supportive, totally waterproof, and super comfortable. With my current mids having put in a long service life, including plenty of winter wear, I was due for a new set. They 've made some thoughtful improvements to the tongue and lace hooks, but everything else that I love about the shoes remains intact. The factory insoles are great, but I do swap them out for a set of Superfeet as a personal preference. Despite a lack of insulation and good breathability, there is enough material and protection to make these a bit stifling in warm weather. The added benefit is that they are great during chilly hikes in late fall and make great everyday shoes for winter. As has been my experience with Oboz, I did bump up a half size and it fits perfectly.

I learned very quickly that the Sorel Caribou boot was the Best way to keep feet dry and relatively warm in the Great white Tundra of the North East states. These boots are always dirty with grease& food stains but nothing like a little wet rag and polish to make them brand new again. Let me start off by saying I am a true 6. 5, never a 6 and very super rarely a 7. I used their size chart and measuring guide and found that I fell between the 6. 5/7 so I decided to size up and I 'm glad I did. I have just enough room around my toe in the box, and my heel has just enough space to move until they really get soft and cozy. I also have bunionettes, and sizing up with a regular width is definitely giving them some room. They are very comfortable on my feet. I purchased the black, and I am very pleased with how beautiful these boots are. Much prettier in person than the picture. I will probably purchase a second pair that I will be happy to dirty up so I can keep a nicer pair. I am very happy with my purchase!

I decided to buy a new pair of winter boots since my previous pair( from a different brand) kept giving me blisters. One of my professors used to be a Timberland exec and he always raved about the quality of the shoes, so I decided to try them out. I ordered 2 different styles of winter boots, each in 2 sizes. I did n't love the roll- top boots, so those promptly got returned. I ended up keeping the size 9 of the 6 '' waterproof-- the boots had a clean look and the leather is well sewn and finished, I 've worn them to work and they do n't look out of place with my button- up shirt and slacks. The boots feel a little heavy while wearing them, but honestly I prefer that since they feel more durable and rugged. I 've since worn the boots both with and without thick winter socks and had no problems. They were comfortable from Day 1 and have n't given me blisters. My biggest gripe is that the shoelaces are too short- even when I lace the boots as tightly as possible, I am left with maybe 3- 4 '' of lace to tie with. The 6 '' roll- top boots I returned had longer laces than these despite having a similar style, so this was a disappointment.

I have never, in my adult life, worn anything smaller than a 10 in any shoe( boot, sneaker, sandal, heel) but the size 10 in these was considerably larger than I could wear! [ Searched around a lot. Bought these because my husband has Vasques and loves them. They ’ re comfy so far( just worn around the neighborhood and a couple short 1- 2 mile hikes). Grip seems good. I wore them in some slush/ice and had no issues. I think they ’ re really attractive. Was worried that the white sole would stain easily and look junky, but so far it ’s been fine. Haven ’ t been in mud yet though. I gave the comfort 4 stars because there ’s a spot where the upper was rubbing when I was breaking them in. It ’s gotten better and I imagine it will go away once they ’ re fully broken in. I ’ m also not used to having that much ankle coverage, so it could be that that ’s affecting me.

[ This is my second pair Vasque breeze hikers. I love them and they took almost no time to break in. So comfortable! The only reason I didn ’ t give a five is because I had to get a replacement pair after one of the hooks snapped apart while hiking 1 month after I bought them. [ Been wearing the Vasque breeze since 2016 and never had a blister in this boot. Quality is good, never had an issue. The only thing that wears is the tread which is to be expected from normal wear and tear and backpacking in extremely rocky conditions. Would recommend. I won ’ t wear anything else.

I have been buying the breeze boot for about 20 years now. I would agree that the laces need to be a bit longer so you can double tie them. On zappos web site they advertise that the 7742 has gore tex lining and vibram soles, you might want to check on that one. Other than that the boots are really comfortable.

I 've been through many iterations of the Vasque Breeze, for hiking, search/rescue, and everyday wear. I 'm now looking for a new pair of the 7742, but I see much to my disappointment that the outer sole is no longer Vibram. The part number is the same, but the sole is n't. I wo n't bet my life on anything other than Vibram, so that's the end of the Breeze for me. RIP.

[ This is my second pair of Oboz sawtooth low. I tried the waterproof version first but it was very difficult to wear as it wasn ’ t exactly waterproof and it did not breathe. [ Purchased these boots about a month ago and have clocked about 80 miles on them. The boot fells great, provides great stability and grip but not too much grip. Most of my hiking in on packed soil with lots of exposed roots. I typically wear a normal width but a wide was required for this one. I use these for work. The best I have ever had. I have had about 5 pair and love them all except for one. I just started wearing the color major/wet sand. I don ’ t love the suede type material and they are more stiff than all the others. You guys got rid of the best color. I don ’ t remember the name but it was lighter in color. You should bring that back and get rid of the major/wet sand. The material is different and not as comfortable.

[ This is the second time I ’ ve bought this exact boot. They are lightweight but waterproof. The sole takes a lot of wear and tear but doesn ’ t wear down quickly. The only downside I ’ ve had is that the strings break rather quickly compared to the life of the boot, but really that ’s just proof that the boot is so durable and long- lasting!

I ’ ve had these boots since 2018 when I bought them while active duty military, here it is Fall of 2023 and they ’ re still my favorite “ recreational ” boot. I ’ ve worn these to everything from when I got engaged to when it ’s raining and I just want to keep my feet dry. If you ’ re looking for a boot that can eat the elements up and still look good doing it, they ’ re worth the price.( Only caveat is I have custom orthotic inserts I wear so I can ’ t speak to the quality of the insole, but I can ’ t imagine they ’ d be any less quality than the rest of the boot)
