So far I ’ ve used it wading off the beaches in Belize and have had no issues with them. They are comfy and sturdy. The arches are slightly high if you have flat feet like mine but I quickly got use to them. I also went a half size up to pair them with the Fly weight wading socks.

First trip in my Simms Flats Sneakers was on a weeklong bonefishing trip to Mars Bay on South Andros. I normally wear a shoe size of 7. 5- 8 wide, but went with size 9 on the Flats Sneakers with the neoprene socks. Fit was great. We waded some pretty significant distances on a couple of days, and the Sneakers were very comfortable. Glad I got them, and I ’ d certainly recommend them highly. Caught some nice fish too. This is my third pair of these flops. As a professional guide i wear flops about 90% of the time working and also when not on the water. These perform very well and the non slip tread seems to last longer than my other 2 national brands that I also wear frequently. They do appear a little tight from a fight perspective until they are work a few times. I also think they run slightly on the small side compare to Reef and Olukai flops. My biggest complaint is that they do not make them in MORE COLORS!

Ordered size 9 my normal size and they fit perfect. After I put them on the first time I could tell they would be hard to take off. First half dozen times I wore them I put a plastic shopping bag over each foot to make it easier to get them off. They have since loosened up alittle so no more shopping bags. So far great boots. Small interior pocket would have been nice.

The plain earth color seems to blend well with multiple habitats in multiple seasons in S. Louisiana. The boots are insulated enough that my feet were comfortable during my first hunt in sub freezing temps. The uninsulated upper is perfect as I can wear them during early teal or frogging season as they seem to breath well. I 'm 5'10 '', 190lbs( 32 '' waist) and wear 10. 5- 11 in shoes. The waders fit perfect. Zip chest and hand pockets are nice additions.

I had been waiting and watching reviews on these waders for the last few months before pulling the trigger on them. After hunting in them over the last few weeks in several different places, they have impressed me. The fit is perfect. I hunt 30- 40 times a season, so these will be put to the test over the remainder of this season and next. Only thing I ’ ve found missing is D- loops. But I made my own using a ziiptie and it ’s worked fine. I think these will contend with the likes of Chene and Sitka. And the warranty looks to be the same if not better.

I Purchase mine almost four years ago. Mine came with a Vibram and a felt sole. I purchased 2 more different soles for different rivers bottoms. I love the BOS system easy in and out. The boot is fairly lightweight and rugged. Very simple boot without much to it. Fits true to size and is able to lace up securely. Not as stiff as most other wading boots. I like that it has the metal rivets along the eyelights for the laces. These boots appear as if they were made to last. I would recommend this boot to others. It was a tad bulkier than what it appears in the picture, but not excessively so. Fits well with a lot of good support. Easy to walk in for a long day of fishing.

Fit great easy to get on and off. I have mobility and flexibility issues and was able to tie them with no difficulty. Wore them for 7 hrs in 44 Degree water my feet were warm all day long. I need a cane to walk and these bots gave me an added to my ability to wade in more rocket water.

These are the third pair that I ’ ve owned and I use them exclusively for wade fishing beaches and inshore flats along the Gulf Coast of Florida. They ’ re a little more expensive than some other options but definitely worth it. They ’ re by far the most durable and provide better ankle support and protection from rocks and oysters than any other brands I ’ ve tried over the years. Most importantly, I ’ ve never had a zipper get stuck and break trying to zip them up. These booties are awesome. Definitely buy one size over your usual shoe size. Easier to get on and off that way. Especially when wet. I usually don ’ t wear wading socks with them but it ’s an option if wading great distances( Christmas Island) Large zippers prevent getting clogged with sand the debris but still need to rinse well when done wading. Replacing a pair of competitors wading booties used in the Bahamas once and discarded. Simms booties are much better quality in materials, design and construction. Notably, the boots are supportive of ankles and thick enough in the soles to protect feet from cuts or bruising from coral or limestone terrain. Beware that boots are a 1/2 to a full size smaller than designated. I bought size 14 to fit what I usually wear at 12 1/2 and they fit fine with a light sock.

Over all I love these boots, light, easy on and off, great grip with stud, and they have help up well. My only criticism is the web shoe lace eyes seen to be a little light. They have started to fray a little and one of them has torn through. I would have given a 4 1/2 but couldn ’ t, they are still a great boot.

I spend more time on foot than in the boat so I was after a boot that would be durable and sturdy across land as much as in the water. The M 's Flyweight are performing well in this regard. The sole is remarkably `` sticky '' so far and inspires a lot of confidence in stability. I ca n't imagine what they 'd be like with cleats! They are a boot so they do have a bit of heft to them, but relative to other boots I have used these are pretty light.

Dec 2023 on the Mo. Too windy for my poor fly fishing skills, so I was helping youngest with egg sacs. Boots are awesome. Follow the Simms sizing. I 'm a 9 in street shoes and ordered 10s. Run with wool socks and heated socks on top and still have a little room. I had a cheap K brand boot before and these are so much better. So much more support and structure. Especially if you have a hike to get to your spot. So glad I got these on sale. If they have your size, just buy them.

I love G3 Guide Wading Boots, I 've bought two pair. One pair is rubber bottomed, I use them in the winter and in the summer when I am hiking into distant waters. The second pair is the Felt Sole. We have many streams and rivers in my area that are VERY slippery or have bowling ball sized rocks. The Felt Sole works like a magnet making wading much safer. As an older angler, the felt bottom works like magic. Not sure what the T tab on the back is for, I 'd prefer the old- style loop when pulling on my boots.

This is my first pair of Simms. For my height the neoprene feet are usually too large even with double socks for cold weather, and the girth is bulky. Took me two tries on the mail ordering, but I am very satisfied in getting a pair to fit without extra bulk.
