As a high school triple jumper I can say that this is the best triple jump spike on the market. I have tried other options and I can confidently say that if you do not have these spike you are at a major disadvantage in a competition. I have had 3 pairs and all of them are still in perfect condition to jump after 2 years I would recommend that you go a minimum half a size up if you would like them to fit snug. other than that I have no complaints about the fit. The cushion on the heel is in my option the best part about the shoe. It allows to be able to absorb the impact that face on the second phase of your jump while not taking away from that power that you can create on your first and last phase. The bottom plate of the shoe works exactly how you would want while performing your jump. the flat heal and aggressive toe design allow you to get the desired heel to toe movement that is so crucial in the triple jump. The carbon plate is very strong and helps create power in the third phase of the jump. In the next generation of the spike I would like to see firm feel of the toe much like the Adidas sp2 so that you can maximize the total push of that you are able to get in you last phase to drive you into the pit even farther.

I am a rotational shot putter and discus thrower in high school so I have definitely been doing lots of rotation. These spikes were perfect for my son!! He is a size 14 in men and it is usually very difficult finding anything that fits him without going to an outlet. He is new to track and field and we thought we were all prepared until he came home saying he needed spikes. Of all things, I could n't believe we did n't think of that.... I mean duh lol! Immediately I went online, honestly I had very little faith that I would find anything. Literally immediately after typing Dick's came up WITH his size in stock AND the spikes were super fly( my son's word). Initially I got the size 15 because I thought that his normal size 14 would be narrow and tight on his wide flat feet. Nope- the 15 was too big. His coach told us that spikes have to be your size or fitted. So we got his normal size 14 and it's a perfect fit. They attend narrow nor do they hurt his feet. He wears them with socks and they 're perfect. He's also worn them without socks and we 're fine. He says the spikes feels funny when walking but that is ONLY because this is his first time wearing spikes, ever. Also they were delivered the next day for free and I ordered them after 5: 30 in the evening. I will shop at Dick's more often. Even customer service was great when I called to ask about the return policy for the size 15. They were not only on sale, but they came with the carry bag and the spikes and the spike tool( IDK what it's called). I did n't know all of that was in the box until he asked for help with the spikes lol. Great buy and I completely recommend the spikes and the company! Thank you!

I have dragonfly 2 and victory 2 I ’ ve been research about use for cross country no where to answer so I came up with to test it for all of you customers. I did tested 12x400m on cross country course with dragonfly 2 and then week later did 8x800m on cross country course with victory 2. My result is. Dragonfly 2 is definitely best on cross country. Victory 2 not for cross country, just stay on track or your legs sores for few days if you use victory 2 on cross country. Both of them I tested it for yall if yall look for answer so here it is.

purchased from nike, not Dicks. But i have seen a lot of non- typical reviews that may dissuade someone from giving these shoes a chance. I have over 300 damage- free miles on these shoes and i am just now looking at getting a replacement pair. not due to damage, but just due to the zoomX foam losing its `` springiness '' which is typical for it over time. I started wearing these shoes coming from wearing nike free's for years and just wanted to give something else a try that is lightweight and without a carbon fiber plate. These shoes will not `` destroy '' your ankles if you are already adept to wearing a minimalist- style shoe. These are not true minimalist, but they are very lightweight, lighter than my minimalist shoes, and have a very low heel- toe drop. Both of these specs can compete with minimalist shoes. Coming from wearing minimalist shoes, my ankles, feet, and lower legs are strengthened to adapt to the less cushioning and stability. If you transition to these shoes straight from wearing `` traditional '' trainers, there will be an adjustment period and you may decide its not for you. That is not a knock on the shoe, but more of a characteristic of this style of shoe. I transitioned to these shoes pretty seamlessly from my Nike frees. Streakfly's are the lightest shoe Nike makes, and extremely flexible. Like wearing socks. This is what i look for in a shoe, and something to consider for anyone looking at giving these a try. It is a very fast shoe, but it will lose its responsiveness over time due to the exposed ZoomX foam. They can still be used when this happens though. I am not happy that Nike decided to add a carbon fiber plate to the new Streakfly's, although Nike did make the shoe even lighter. I uses these shoes as a daily trainer and do not want to run with a carbon fiber plate every time, this can cause injury. i am currently looking for deals on these shoes from other sellers because they are not for sale through Nike anymore and i want to pick up another pair before they are completely gone. Bottom line, if you are someone that is already used to wearing a lightweight, flexible shoe, with low drop, you should really give this shoe a try. If not, there will be a transition period before you can wear this shoe all the time. When i transitioned to minimalist, i went through several shoes of gradually decreasing weight and drop in order to let my body strengthen and acclimate.
