I agree that I ’ m not sure why these shorts got such a bad review. I am not a conservative person BY ANY MEANS. However I don ’ t like my daughters shorts for soccer or basketball being so short that her goodies are hanging out. We ’ re curvy individuals and I personally don ’ t need all my goodies hanging out. So to the woman whose daughter cried having to wear these shorts… that ’s a bit dramatic! As an athlete, I ’ ve always felt I ’ m there to play and win… not have my booty hanging out in the process!

I did size up to a medium, but they are super comfy and the length is perfect( a tad longer in the back than the front). Not all ladies like short- shorts. These were the perfect compromise between basketball length and shorties. Legs are loose allowing movement and, despite the other reviewer ’s opinion, I really like the waistband. I bought both colors and wish there were more. I also have to give kudos to the Tiro 23 match shorts. They are basically a shorter version of these, but still great comfort and quality. These are very thin and lightweight very good for hot weather. They don ’ t have side pockets so you ’ re just using those cargo pockets which have zippers so it ’s a straight drop and zippers are a little more secure than flaps. I think not using the pockets makes it a lot more minimal that ’s great in a hot weather so no complaints there. Just letting you know.
