I usually am a size 10, athletic build, and I am 5'10. There was just too much extra fabric in the front and hip region in the large. Hang well.( 2) Having the high rise waist is great; the pants stay securely in place while I move in any direction, at any speed.( 3) The horizontal zippered front pockets are an excellent style and security feature:( a) you do n't get that pocket gap pop- out that comes with non- zippered, angled pockets and( b) there's no fear that what you put in those pockets, like keys, will fall out.( 4) They are perfect for travel.
