I have been looking for the perfect visor for several years after my favorite was discontinued. Most of the ones with wider brims were just too big and made me look silly. I have a very small face. And you take off in the wind like the flying nun. These visors are the perfect length for keeping the sun out of your eyes. I love the lightness; however, I ’ m not sure how they will fair in strong winds. I also wish they had more colors to choose from. I like the light gray, however, it didn ’ t allow me to tighten it enough; The light purple was easier to tighten to my needs. I bought this hat almost 10 years ago. It keeps all the rain away, keeps the water off the back of my neck and down into my clothing, the webbing inside keeps it so my head does n't get sweaty. This is a fantastic hat. My daughter borrowed my hat when she volunteered at a wildlife rescue and without in the pouring rain all the time cleaning the enclosures. I kept the rain out of her eyes and off her back. I ca n't say enough about this fantastic hat. I 'm a woman but find that men's hats usually fit a little better. This hat is quite large though. When I bought it it came in different sizes, I do n't see that often now. I wish I had gotten a little bit smaller size even with the adjustment on the back

With the bizarre, exceptionally wet spring we 've had, I did n't want to stop hiking/walking. And pulling my hood up over my Sport hat was n't a good or dry solution. Lightweight, great coverage, looks good as it fits actual head shape vs stiff shape. I was debating between s/m and l/xl as I 'm in the middle. Went with s/m as it can stretch a bit. Could have gone either way.

Hat is packable, lightweight, and had the best face and neck coverage of any I found. Also has a drawstring to keep it on. I haven ’ t used it yet but I know it will do what it ’s designed to and protect you from the sun. This is going to be my go to hat for kayaking. I ’ ll probably look a bit silly but I don ’ t care because I want to protect my skin and that ’s the main goal here with this hat.

I love boonie hats, but the Sport Hat can keep out all angles of sunlight. It is feathery light on your head, but it is still rugged. This is my third one as others finally wore out or got damaged. This hat will stay in place in a strong wind if you cinch down the chin strap. I wear it kayaking on big expanses of water with no wind break. The L/XL hat fit me well. I hope that Sunday Afternoons keeps selling these hats forever.

I have a large head and typically will wear a baseball cap on the beach because hair needs to be back, this hat is amazing!! I wore it first on a windy day and just had to tighten the back and the chin strap and the hat stayed on my head. I love that it covers my ears and the back of my head and neck. I have a smaller head, and even adult size small can be too big for me. This children's size large sun hat is great. It is light weight, quality fabric, adjustable, and I like that it has a string so if it gets windy it stays on. The brim covers enough to keep the sun off. I live in Florida. I would recommend this hat for an adult or a child.
