I bought this for my grandson a month ago. He plays deck hockey and ice hockey. His Grandpa/Papa had bought him a stick 2- 3 years prior at Dicks in CT. I was visiting my family in PA recently and went to watch him play deck hockey. At the end of his game he shows us that his stick had broken. Papa had passed away a year prior. I tell my grandson ” Papa made sure I was here when your stick broke so that grandma would go buy you one in memory of Papa ”.

5
SamTheKrab
I bought this stick along with the MK3 for my dek season. The ball comes off the MK3 faster than this( MK1) but the MK1 has a much better curve to the blade so you can get more rotation on shots and it is much easier to stick handle with. I actually like using this MK1 more than the MK3. It is very durable. Ive used it for a few months now and it takes a beating and has yet to chip or break. For the value, this is the best stick for your money.

SamTheKrab
Bought this stick for my dek season, Mylec usually makes top products for dek and street. This stick is nice, the ball jumps off when shot. Not much or a curve to the blade so you dont get great rotation on the ball for longer shots. Seems durable. I have used it for 2 months in my dek league, and it takes a beating. I am shocked it has yet to break to be honest.

After a weekend on the ice and two broken carbon sticks later, I was in a bind. I needed something quick, but I did n't have$ 400+ dollars for one or two new sticks. I found these Sher- Wood sticks online and thought I 'd give one a shot. I grew up playing with wooden sticks, mostly Sher- Wood, Titan and Koho models, and with the price of this stick it was an easy click to purchase. I will admit that at first I was worried about the weight and feel, but when I took this stick out of the box and taped it up, all the old warm and fuzzy feels of what made hockey great to me as a kid came rushing back. My fears about the weight were also quelled. Considering I 'm a full grown man now, these are n't nearly as heavy as I remember. And while they are obviously slightly heavier than a carbon stick, these bad boys are absolute TANKS in the corners and they catch passes with almost no effort. I loved it so much that I ordered 4 more, and honestly, I do n't think I 'll ever go back to carbon. These feel like a hockey stick should feel. I will also say that I took some chirps when I showed up the next weekend, and I 've earned the nickname `` 2 by 4 '' with the guys, but I 've also had 4 different teammates ask me where I got these. I think I may have started a hockey stick renaissance. Just saying.

I bought this stick to help coach my son's instructional league hockey team. I was required to have a stick and bought this as it was the cheapest and highest rated. I am very pleased with my purchase. The stick is very sturdy, lightweight, good quality and functional for my needs( general hockey play). I was surprised with how light the stick was! I do not play competitive hockey, so I can not comment on this stcks functionality for that, but if you are looking for a high quality street/ice hockey stick for light to non- competitive reasons, I would say this stick would foot the blll!

This was the only street hockey goalie stick available online so I had no other choice. The color listed online was black and I received a white stick. Also, I paid$ 24. 99 and the sticker on the stick said$ 19. 99. I felt a little ripped off. Stick works fine, I wish it was bigger so I could use it.
