Otherwise these are a 10/10 I ’ ve lost weight and these still fit great and I ’ ve had them for about 3 years now. I bought these in black, grey and plum eclipse, and I wish I could find more colors. I love that they ’ re mid rise fit, they ’ re super comfortable. This set is overall one of the best winter base layer fits I ’ ve had the chance to try out in the elements( as of yet). The fleecy layer inside isn ’ t too thick, so it will keep you decently warm while not feeling overly constricting( it won ’ t ruin or take away from your outfit either). If I was to give constructive feedback on anything, it would be that they are a little short in length( mind you, I ’ m 5 ’ 11 ”). So, I ’ m really not picky about that kind of thing( for leggings in particular). Especially as they do have a bit of stretch. I would say that they are relatively true to size, maybe size down if you ’ re on the more petite side of the spectrum.

[ I could go on and on about this whole line from Smartwool. It's their best thing in a very long time and I 've been a fan for years. The material is very soft, has a great but comfortable fit. These bottoms also have a nice wide and sturdy waste band so there is no bunching or other uncomfortable nonsense in that area. These are very warm, so perfect under a shell pant or bib for alpine skiing, but I do n't think I would wear them on a tour.

Fit is great. Very warm for Chicago winter runs, but a little bit itchy. Also I would like it to be thinner like the ones in the smartwool Tercel material. Sadly could not find those in mid rise online.
