[ I have a couple of these hoodies and I love them for outdoor activity. The material is light enough to wear when it's hot, but just wind- blocking enough to be good for a slight chill. The sun protection is top notch with the thumb- loop sleeves and hood, and the pockets are perfect for whatever small items I need to take on the trail/run. The one downside is that due to the pockets these can be a bit harder to wear under something else.

I am pale, pastey, and burn extremely easily. A sun hoodie is a must for my outdoor adventures to protect myself from turning lobster red. These are my absolute favorite. The hood is deep enough to throw up over a baseball cap and protect my face, it has thumbholes to protect my hands, and its cute. If I 'm going to stink after a 4 day backpacking trip and stuff my face like a trash panda, at least I can look semi decent.

I have never worn a more perfect piece of clothing. I never imagined wearing long sleeves in hot weather while hiking. Hypothyroidism causes me to sweat profusely and embarrassement. After researching sun hoodies, I found the Crater Lake hoody. It was on sale, I bought it, wore it while hiking, it changed my experience... so I ordered two more!! Backpacked in Kentucky recently and the hoodies were a win for me. The material is thin and light, breathable. Feels great against my skin, wicks away the moisture so felt like I was n't even sweating. Sweat splotches were not noticeable at all. Will definitley explore other products. [ It ’s a nice hoodie that ’s lightweight and feels cool. I don ’ t fish, but I bought it for sun protection when gardening or taking walks. I sized up for a loose fit. The material is thicker and heavier than the Skien hoodie. The blue color is greyish in person. I wish it was brighter.
