I love to wear this hat around town or when we ’ re out on sunny days. It ’s very comfortable, and the brim holds its shape well. I don ’ t use it when I ’ m out gardening or mowing the lawn because I prefer my other Sunday afternoon sun hat that I can throw in the washing machine if it get dirty. That ’s not to say that I couldn ’ t use this for light yardwork. It would be great with the sun protection, I just prefer to not get mine dirty. I am a redhead and these do the best job of protecting my neck, scalp, and face of any hat I have owned. I also love the folding brim so it can go in a pocket. This has been my go- to hat for years. I 've worn it so much that the color has faded. I really like how the skirt can be unbuttoned from the brim and let hang- it provides an additional ventilation option. I also like the draw cord- again it allows ventilation options. I 've also found that the draw cord makes the hat easy to hang from my shoulder strap water bottle if I need to remove the hat while under trees for additional ventilation. This is my second of these hats, I wear them every time I run. They are very well built and very breathable. Extremely durable with a comfortable fit, good wicking material( sweat pushed to brim and doesn ’ t drip down your face, I am an extremely sweaty person), and very good sun coverage. Bill works well with most sunglasses( I have large blocky costa Del Mar ’s that fit well under the brim). Only issue I have with it is the tab in the back can be hard to get out of the way due to the difficulty of feeding it back into the hat.

It looks good, it does everything you need and nothing you do n't need. I love the way this hat looks and fits. I have a pretty small head and it has quick easy adjustments. The adjustments are so good that I ride to the beach and back home on my motorcycle without this thing flying off. When I get to the beach and ready to fish I can loosen it in less than a second. It's sun gear so the most important thing is the protection. it's still spring here in Florida but it's already up to 80s on a regular and the day in the photograph was exactly that. The hat works great for blocking the sun and it also does a pretty good job keeping you cool. The brim is stiff enough to stay out flat for coverage but soft enough to still look good. Used it all last summer and heading into this year i 'm relying on it again. Caught my first pompano of the year and the photograph came out great so I figured i 'd actually write a review.
