My son went through 3 of the regular “ utility ” pants before I decided to try to the more expensive “ pro utility ” version. This version is thicker and will last through sliding, etc. The regular non pro version is just too thin and develop holes almost instantly when sliding. Under Armour will also not warranty replace a pair of pants with a hole in them. Even if you only get one wear out of them, they will say it ’s from “ misuse ” … even though they are BASEBALL PANTS lol. Anyway, if your son insists on wearing UA because of how they fit, get these pro versions, not the regular ones. Still a bit tough to get dirt stains out of, but that comes with the territory.

This is my first free people purchase. They are very oversized. For reference I am 5 ’ 5 and around 145- 150lbs and I ordered a medium. I wanted the oversized look, but I could ’ ve gone with a small. I think because these are not meant to be high waisted, the waist is a lot bigger than it normally would be for a medium. I do have to pull them up really high and tie them tight with the drawstring, otherwise they will drag on the ground( So, good for tall girlies!). Great pants. Best fitting Carhartt pants I have had. Fabric is great feeling and looking though it does show wrinkles a bit more than I would prefer. Pocket layout is nearly perfect. My only gripe with them is that the extra pocket that is thigh level on the right side is pretty much pointless. If I put anything in it I can feel it on the back of my knee and it gets in the way when sitting. When there is nothing in the pocket I can sometimes feel the lining or stitching from it. I think the pants would be better if it was just omitted.

These are so soft yet feel really nice and well woven. They feel like a premium pant. They are not thick and fuzzy like regular sweats, they feel smooth and drape well. The ankle cuff is longer so it really seals out the cold air but fits well inside shoes. I bought the light grey and now want to buy the other two colors as well

[ I have the impossibly soft pants and they really are that comfortable. It feels like wearing pajama like swears that look like relaxed fit pants. The pants run a little long( since they are n't sized by inches) but you can easily roll them up or hem them permanently. My favorite thing about these pants are that they are stylistically more appropriately fitting to wear out in public while being this comfortable. They are n't something you could wear as general professional attire though. I strongly recommend these pants and would encourage you to get them if you 're looking for every day relaxed fit pants.

[ I found these pants to be amazing while I was out skateboarding. They somehow managed to always feel cool, even when the rest of me was hot, and at no point did I feel a damp spot from sweat. I worried at first that they were going to be restrictive while skating, but they had a good amount of stretch to them, and the pants stayed firmly on my hips, even with all the leg movement. Fashion wise again I was quite surprised. The little fake zipper flap area around the crotch was enough to make it look like I was n't just wearing sweats out of the house. I am surprised that a little thing like that could make such a difference. Design wise I would no change anything. They drawstring is well hidden inside, the material both looks and feels comfortable and stylish without looking tacky. The taper down the leg led to a snug fit around my ankles, which allowed me to showcase my shoes while wearing and skateboarding in them, which is highly important to me since I take great pride in my show collection and do n't like when they become hidden by pants.

Used to buy Fruit of Loom but they downsized to less quality material and very low quality elastics. Russel Athletics has very poor seam sewing. DSG is excellent quality, superb elastics and a tru fit. I weigh in at about 220 and 5' 7 '' and the XL fit perfectly. The inseam a bit long but mine is 29- I 'll live it with it all day long. Extremely confortable.
