This boot the sizing has changed slightly they are smaller in the toe box. I went with a half size larger but I probably could have stayed with my regular size 10 and just broke them in. They are to me a light version on the quest boots that are much heavier and clunck than these. I 've bought a few different salomon hiking boots over the years and you ca n't go wrong if you are a day hiker with these they are agile and do n't slip dry or wet they get the job done and protect your feet in every situation. Excellent boots for summer to fall hiking that will last.

I really like these shoes. I had the previous edition, and those were my favorite shoe maybe ever. Build quality, solid, even better than the 4s. Will resist water to a point, but it ’s not meant to be a rain boot. Comfortable, extremely so during the first 200 miles. Love the grip of the soles, especially in more treacherous conditions. I needed some hiking shoes to hike North Cascades National Park in Seattle. Never had hiking shoes before, but hated that they looked so clunky. I saw that trail running shoes work well for hikes as well and allow your feet to stay flexible. I saw these for sale and gave it a try. Wow. It genuinely provided so much support for hiking and light jogging. I hiked through brush, rocks, gravel, tree roots, grass, and other terrains. I did n't slip a single time and the shoes really cushioned each step. Safe to say, I would have been doomed with regular running shoes. After hiking a few days, the shoes still looked new! They were a bit dusty from the trail itself, though. Treads on the bottom looked new, did n't see any scratches or gouges, laces were not frayed. I got the Gore- Tex variant, so at the end of the hike, I walked into the shallow end of a lake and wiped them off, no water got in. I half- sized up. My regular shoe size is a 9, but I went 9. 5 because I wore thicker socks and appreciate the toe room during hiking as I do n't want my toes banging the front of the shoe. Feet also swell when hiking. All in all, I hiked around 20 miles on this trip as well as walking around city areas, so probably closer to 30 miles. I had no issues whatsoever and would recommend them. If Nike wants to sponsor me for this review, I 'm all ears because they 've won me over with these purposeful shoes.

You can not go wrong with the Pegasus in general and when you run in all weather conditions this shoe is an ever bigger step above the core shoe. Not only is the traction and waterproof material great, it somehow does not sacrifice comfort. I feel that I can wear these in all weather conditions and even just around the town. Even with the stronger materials the shoe is still very light weight and does not hinder my run time. I will be purchasing more of these in different colors!

[ I was very impressed when I first tried on the Nike Pegasus 41 GORE- TEX. The fit was a little snug at first but loosened up with wear. Although the shoe is true to size, you may need to up a size if you have wider feet. The shoe is very comfortable and light weight, it felt like I was walking on clouds. The design is simple and thought out as it's waterproof and has good grip. The thick sole provides a lot of cushion and comfort. Even though the sole is thick, the shoe does not feel bulky. It is nice that these shoes are waterproof and have good grip as we are approaching rainy and icy season. I wore these shoes to the gym and it had enough support and grip. What I like about these shoes is that it has a lot of cushion that supports the sole. The only thing I would change about these is to make them a little wider. I have pretty narrow standard feet, but I thought it was a little snug at first.

[ Nike has managed to create their most comfortable dunk low without making it a part of their Nike Skateboarding line. We all know the added padding and comfort that Nike SB's provide and regular dunks seem to be a little stiffer. It's been awhile since I 've worn regular dunks but I 'm happy to report that Nike has improved them tremendously. The tongue has extra thick padding similar to a Nike SB, the inner lining is lined with extra soft materials and the insole is much thicker than in the past. I swear you could mistake these for a Nike SB dunk low. The outsole materials are very premium with the Goretex added and the leather is nice and buttery. You can wear these dressed up or dressed down and still look good no matter what. I 'm still worried about the toe box creasing which is what dunks are known for. I will have to report back once I really put some wear into these. Overall, these are a huge improvement from the old dunks and hope they release them in different colorways. If you 're standing on your feet for work or do a lot of walking, I highly recommend grabbing these for next pair. I can see the whole kitchen crew at a restaurant rocking these. Highly recommend!

[ Goretex really works well with this type of shoe design! I love being able to go out in the rain and being able to just put some dunk lows on while being confident on keeping me warm and dry. It has been raining a lot and these have been holding up quite well. They are a bit stiffer and rigid but hoping it will break in like how dunks usually do. I am glad Nike came out with the Goretex versions and will definitely be a staple especially with winter around the corner!

[ Grabbed the Nike Dunk Low Gtx in the black colorway and I ’ m really happy with them. Super comfortable, which is exactly what I expect from Dunks. I haven ’ t worn a pair in years, but slipping these on felt right away like coming back to something familiar. I like these a lot: They have a nice wide/not too wide footprint. They have good ankle support. They have great traction. They are very comfortable. The waterproofing worked well( as it should because they are new). My only complaint is that padding on the ankles makes them pretty wide at the ankle and that tends to catch debris and funnel it down into the shoe... so they are not my pick for places where there is a lot of trail debris.... or perhaps I should have used gaiters. But they are perfect for wet, slippery, or dry trail conditions and casual wear. To me, the picture makes them look like they have green trim: They are shades of grey, not green-- I was pleasantly surprised by that, and I think they are a good- looking pair of shoes.

[ This is my second pair of Trail Pegasus, and I like it more than the first one:) The Pegasus are a staple for any running enthusiast, but I had n't worn a pair of trail shoes until recently, and I 'm sold. [ This is great. Honestly, when I first wore it out it was a little too tight for me and I thought I needed a bigger size. Since it is a waterproof shoe, you can expect it to be a little bit tighter obviously to help keep water out during rainy training days. The second time I wore them they felt much better and didn ’ t feel as tight. I normally go half a size or a full size up for running shoes. I ’ m normally a 9, but did a 9. 5. The cushion on these shoes is amazing. They have the new zoom cushion which is super comfortable and you can wear out for long periods of time. I did a few recovery runs in this shoe during the rain storms we have been having and they did great on concrete with rain, road with rain, and some softer terrain with muddy surfaces. I didn ’ t feel like I would slip or anything while running- the grip on these shoes is amazing.

[ I was finally happy to see a wide light weight hiker from Keen. For awhile most of their light weight hikers never came in wide, so this is very welcome. The shoe overall is well build with solid traction. They are sneaker comfortable out of the box but I do wish they had slightly more arch support. My kids will wear out 3 or 4 pairs of the$ 20 rubber boots that are colder and less comfortable in the same amount of time. I sprayed them with a water bottle as a test to the waterproof claim and the water beaded and rolled right off. The inserts are thick and have a ton of cushion to add to the overall comfortability.
