I ’ m about 41- 42 ” hips, and the pants definitely fit on the bigger side: adjustable tabs as tight as they get, and still easily go over jeans or multiple layers with plenty extra room. The quality of these ski pants are pretty good. Well made and so far seem pretty durable. Bought these for a Colorado ski trip in January and put many miles on these pants in 4 days straight of skiing. For the price you can ’ t beat them. Only problem I had was the sizing. The waistband is adjustable to a point but the overall sizes available weren ’ t fitting right. Either a little too loose or a little too tight. We went with a little too loose for better flexibility in movements. I would definitely buy these again.

Just the right amount of lining for me in Chicago winter when it's cold out- keep in mind I generally run warm, but this helps me avoid wearing leggings/long underwear on the real cool days. [ Traveled to Alaska in January and brought these pants along. They kept me warm and dry in- 30 F temps and did very well in several feet of snow while snow shoeing and sledding. I at first bought a size small and they fit me like a glove, then returned for a medium so that I could wear them on top of my bottom layers for the day. The medium fit well with jeans and thermals under. The bottom of the pants have an elastic to go around your boot to keep snow from getting in your pants and boots and that seemed to hold up well despite me trucking along in several feet of snow.

I bought a size small because the medium was quite big. In cm, I am between 65- 70cm in waist and hips 100- 105cm. Fitted great, a bit tight at the beginning but with use got loose. The elastic waistband helped the pants fit perfectly, and the legs were roomy enough to move around and not feel to snug or pull without looking or feeling too baggy. The legs were also big enough to fit over my boots which was a huge plus I was looking for. The material is durable so I do n't fear ripping them, but not too thick that I overheated. One of the best mountaineering pants you can get- durable, breathable, and yet still warm at any altitude. These are my go- to pants for many PNW mountain treks( Mt Adams, Middle Sister, Mt. Hood, etc). The fit is fairly true- to- size, but I would have expected a bit more stretch in the waist. I 'm usually a 32 in most clothing, and M's feel a bit tight. There's plenty of stretch in the legs which makes for easily climbing, but the waist can definitely be a bit annoying. It's not enough to take away from how great these are, but something to consider if you 're on the border of sizes.
