I bought these in white in XL and then in black in L. I like pants loose at the waist and need a long rise. I also got the short length, which sit at my instep( 5' 4 ''). The black ones in the L fit better as to the rise and volume of the legs, but I prefer the looser waist on the XL. I wish designers would give up the hourglass myth of women's bodies: If one needs a L for the hips, one probably does not have a 32 '' waist. The drawstring makes these wearable. Both are comfortable, though, and very light. So I will probably wear the black ones out more, and keep wearing the white ones around the house. Very comfortable style and fabric. I find myself wearing these most days in the Florida warm temps. Very nicely made, as well. I marked `` runs small '' because the elastic at the waist, IMO, should be about 2 inches larger. [ I received these swim trunks complimentary from Hurley and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. Made well and the color is awesome. They are way too big for my 7 year old as they are meant for 10- 12 year olds but he will definitely grow into them. Hurley is a good brand overall so I have confidence these will last through all the swims and splashes.

[ My son and I both love these shorts. They fit great and he is on the huskier side. He said they are super comfortable. The shorts are soft but not cheaply made. We both love the color and it ’s so easy to see him in the pool or running in the beach. They are made well and will last through some tough adventures. Looked great until I tried it on and there was a hole in the fabric. I 'm 5- 2 and 108 and it worked- not too long, but probably better on someone a little taller. I ordered an XS. Had to return due to hole, but the white would be a great cover- up for those who do n't want to get too much sun. I would have kept if not for the hole.

We got this about a month ago when I forgot to pack my daughter's swimsuit for her swimming class. Dick's was nearby so I decided to see what options they had. Honestly, I was n't hopeful because I had never seen any swimsuits there. I was pleasantly surprised to find a wide range of options for my daughter to choose from. The color is just as vibrant as it was the first wear. It is the perfect thickness, really good quality fabric that has not pilled up at all. The fit is really good. For modesty, you may want swim shorts as there isnt much coverage around the bottom, but thats most swim suits. My kiddo picked this one out and it is her favorite swimsuit. I wash it every time we swim, which is several times per week, and it has held up very well.
