The all-new PING G440 club collection includes innovative new woods and irons to help you elevate your game.
PING G440 Drivers
The new PING G440 drivers include game-changing features like a lightweight trajectory tuning 2.0 adjustable hosel that helps to dial in ball flight and a CarbonFly Wrap Crown that saves weight to lower CG and creates a muted, pleasing sound.
A lower face height combined with a thinner and hotter clubface creates more ball speed and more consistency, while a 29-gram 3-position back weight in the MAX and LST driver models allows forgiveness to be adjusted for shot shape and trajectory.
Whether you’re seeking the lighter weight and faster swing speed of the G440 SFT HL, or the low spin, high ball speed performance of the G440 LST, the new lineup of G440 drivers has options for every player.
PING G440 Driver First Look & Review
Kenton Oates caught up with Sahith Theegala and Viktor Hovland to test out the new G440 driver and get their first impressions.
The color, design and sound stood out to Theegala, who noted, “the color’s pretty nice”, “the top looks cleaner”, and “I really like the noise, it feels a lot softer to the ears.”
“I really like the way it sits,” shared Hovland, “when I put it down it feels like the face wants to sit pretty straight, which I’m a fan of.”
The straight ball flight and forgiveness were some of the other first impression callouts. “All the PING drivers I’ve played have been super forgiving, and this seems to fit the bill again,” said Theegala.

PING G440 Fairway Woods
The G440 fairway woods are available in G440 MAX, G440 LST and G440 SFT models. Some of the notable new features of the G440 fairway woods include a taller face profile in the MAX fairway wood, a new high-strength titanium face in the LST models, a low CG system to preserve high launch off turf, and a contoured sole design for a consistent face angle in every loft and lie.
PING G440 Hybrids
The re-designed face structure of the PING G440 hybrids is shallower, to help with higher launch, and thinner with an optimized face profile, to increase ball speed in the middle of the face and control speed on off-center strikes. 4g was removed from the hosel, heel and screw section of each hybrid loft to create a 12% lower CG, and the face height was reduced to increase launch and stopping power without sacrificing ball speed.
The extensive loft offerings of the G440 hybrids fit players of all skill levels. The 2 hybrid is slightly fade-biased for penetrating flight, the 3 and 4 hybrids have a loft increase of 1° for a neutral flight and more stopping power, while the 5, 6 and 7 hybrids feature a slight draw bias for higher launch and straighter flight.
PING G440 Irons
The PING G440 irons feature the forgiveness and consistency of game-improvement technology with a shallow face height, shorter blade length and a thin top line for a players-inspired look. The 4-piece molded PurFlex cavity badge expands and contracts to support the face while enhancing ball speed, sound and feel, and the improved set gapping allows players to create more consistent distance gaps in their bag.
