Bought these since I moved from AK over to the east coast. Wanted something lighter and a bit more breathable than the womens legacy boots. I wore these everywhere. Gardening, hiking, walking the dog 3+miles a day, to work, doing errands, slipping them on in the early morning to pick up dog poop. These were easy to slip on and off. My feet stayed dry. In the dead of summer, they can get a bit hot. My regular running shoes are even hot! but overall my feet did not overheat. The shoes had great traction. It's been about a year and they are still great. I may have worn down the soles from so much use. My only con is: the foot cushions might stick to your bare feet if you do n't wear socks.

Big fan of these boots. Love the color and the fit. They are a little heavier than the sport version but I liked how these fit more snug around the ankles so my heels don ’ t slide as much. I ’ m a new mom with a winter baby in the PNW and these slip on and off so easily. They removed a barrier in order to get me outside. Also helpful when walking the dog in the rain.

I ’ m on my second pair. They last about 14 months for me. But I truly don ’ t mind because these are by far the most comfortable deck boot/shoe whatever you wan na call it that I ’ ve worn. I compare the soul of the boot to one of the “ helm pads ” that are nice and squishy and comfy to save your feet back and knees on those nasty days running in a 27 ’ cc. With these no matter where you stand you have a helm pad under your feet. I ’ ve had many pairs of the original 6 ” xtratufs over the years and one pair of all black leathers 6 ” boots for work and the sports are still by far my favorite. If I ever hear they are going to discontinue this line, I will hoard as many pairs as I can lol. These are great boots! I have been wearing Xtratufs for the past 4- 5 years( both deck and legacy). My last pair of deck boots lasted me three years before cracking on the crease point near the balls of my feet. I put them through everything. A lot of forestry work. The only issue I have is comfort. My current job requires standing on concrete for up to 6 hours a day. My feet start to hurt after a few hours. I definitely recommend buying inserts if you can. I wear these at least 3- 4 times a week, they 're like slippers for me. I will definitely be coming back for another pair when these wear out. I was thinking about getting XtraTuf boots for a long time but never had any reason to until I started needing a waterproof boot that wasn ’ t a full tall winter boot. I ’ m glad I got them. They aren ’ t breathable( as I expected) due to the waterproofing of the boot, but the fact that they are short boots helps them breathe a little more than a tall boot. They are very comfortable and I have even wore them for short hikes because I decided not to change my shoes. They have quickly became my everyday winter shoe/boot. I love the purple color, it is so fun, but when mud splashed on them it stays visible until you wash it off. The one time I did scrub them off they did clean up relatively nicely, but if you want an easier maintenance boot, I would get a darker color.

The original skate was too small I got online with Dick's Chat line and within a few minutes a return was processed and a replacement skate was ordered in the correct size. I received the replacement skate in 3 days and the return slip was emailed to me the same day. Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

These boots are great for someone looking for the support of a high top boot without the weight. They are super durable and held up well on a rafting trip through the Yukon, British Columbia, and Alaska. They kept my feet warm and dry around camp and had a fantastic supportive footbed and grippy sole for hiking. They do run rather small and narrow, so I recommend trying these on to see what size and width works best for you!

In using them, working all day, my feet were n't sore like they have been with other boots. I absolutely loved that I could just straight hose them off at the end of the day, when they say waterproof, they mean waterproof. Not just part of the boot, the whole thing. 10/10 would recommend. Pro tip, get a size bigger than your normal size, and if it's not snug enough, pick up an insole to add in it.
