I have extra wide feet. I ’ ve bought ASICS for decades because they ’ re one of the very few that makes 4E running shoes that fit my feet perfectly. I always get ASICS top of the line as soon as they come out. I usually buy two pair at a time because I rotate them while using cedar shoe trees which helps them keep their shape and removes( absorbs) the sweat. They are the perfect shoes for my feet!

I 'll start by saying i work valet and I 'm on my feet 10hrs a day straight running. I started valet with Hoka Bondi 9's and was getting terrible joint pains and muscle pains to where i almost couldnt walk and I was walking with a limp. I love these shoes! They were comfortable from the start, with no breaking in necessary. I am a walker, not runner but found I needed more squish and support while walking around the uneven and rough surfaces in my town. The sidewalks here are not great and non- existent in many areas so I ’ m on the road for much of my walk. These shoes give me the right amount of support, and my feet and legs feel happy during and after my walk. I also love the color. As a woman who needs a double wide shoe it ’s hard to find much besides black and grey, and that ’s just not for me. The Matcha/Celadon combo is bright and cheerful. The shoes encourage me to walk – I ’ m not someone who naturally loves exercise but does benefit from it. I need a little boost now and then to make it happen. After some experimentation, I came back to the Gel- Kayano Wide and glad I did. I really needed a wider shoe and the Kayano comes in wide and really has the heel support that I need due to my pronation which has caused frequent knee and calf pain. No shoe will ever be as good as the Gel- Cumulus 23, but I am very pleased with the GC- 27. Mile after mile of spongy comfort, excellent lateral support, great energy return. No need to frequently stop and re- lace or re- cinch. Some might find the tongue a bit short; I found myself tugging on it the first ten miles. Other than that, as a regular Nike guy, I can say the GC- 27 is fantastic for long runs.

My first pair of Asics Gel- Cumulus and I am very impressed. These feel like you are walking on cloud. The cushion is very good. Came to this shoe after 500 miles on a pair of NB fresh foam x more V4, a heavier more cushioned shoe. After initial run, I found these to be comfortable, supportive and very light/fast. Superior cushioning and forefoot strike flexibility compared to my pairs of Nimbus 25& 26, and they are indeed better for both LR and tempo runs. Cushioning felt superb during 16+ mile long runs and feet/legs were far less sore the day after LRs until this shoe accumulated about 250 miles. Currently at 325 miles and cushioning is still ok and better than my newer Nimbus 26. I will try running in them during recovery runs after 350 miles.

As a 59 Year old, Marathons are my ‘ Late life crisis ’. This is my 3rd Superblast2, obviously I love them. Addressing the issues: I use the runners knot to hold the shoe and powerbeat2 for noise cancellation. Availability, Price and ColorWays are way beyond my ‘ paygrade ’. Great every day running shoe. Not built for racing but absolute cruiser that will take care of your legs. The dual layer foam setup is soft but stable while being very smooth. Not a lot of bounce but a lot of roll with a perfectly placed rocker. I believe the magic is in the rocker position and grade combined with the midsole setup. I was consumed with the Nova and Superblast so I didn ’ t try the first version. Probably a good thing. I ’ m surprised by just how much I like this shoe. My all time favorite every day trainer/ long run shoe.

Post 4- mile run. You can tell these shoes are ment for distance, long runs, 6+ miles. A friend ran a marathon in them and the consistency of comfort stayed the whole race. I just bought a pair for a half marathon coming up. They are not built for speed or a ton of action. They do have some action and forward propulsion but the shine in stability got longer than normal runs. Maybe go 0. 5 size up, they are slightly more snug than the Nova Blast 4s. just barely though. Overall 9/10 for what they are meant for.

Surprisingly good running shoe. I ’ ve seen the Noosa Tri around for many years, always wild colors and patterns, always eye catching. I was always happy with whatever I was running in at the time and always thought…maybe next time. Well, next time finally came and I decided to give the Noosa Tri 16 a shot. Let ’s start with the fit…they ’ re a little on the snug side, I wear an 11 in everything and usually that works out just fine. The Noosa 16 fit more like a 10& 3/4 than an 11. Nonetheless they ’ ve become my brick workout shoes with no socks and I ’ m really happy with them in that capacity. These shoes excel at every distance I ’ ve tried them at from a short speed workout to a 13- 14mi easy pace day. They feel great for my midfoot strike, roll off the toe really nicely and the foam is amazingly smooth, soft, bouncy and comfortable. The upper breathes well and like I mentioned, 80% of my miles in these are barefoot and the liner of the shoe is soft, smooth and very comfortable.

I bought these for a weeklong trip to Disney World and they were great. They fit perfectly and even with hours of daily walking they were wonderfully comfortable. I also bought a pair of the GEL- CONTEND 9 in wide and swapped back and forth from one day to the other. Both are very comfortable shoes and breath well which is important in the muggy Florida heat. The excite is a little more cushiony/bouncy so it might just be a matter of personal preference.

I ’ m a 5 ’ 10 ”, 170lbs, 54 year old male with a marathon PR of 3: 15 and have been running marathons for 14 years. Ran my 20th marathon two weeks ago and nearly set a new PR! I bought the Metaspeed Sky a couple months out from my race and put roughly 40 miles on the shoes at race pace during training. Was really skeptical at first because the soles r so plush, but running, they r very responsive. Super light and almost feel unstable standing in them. However, running for me, at 7- 7: 30 min/mile pace, they were fantastic. After setting a PR 7 years ago, I nearly PR ’ d again with these shoes. I was less than 30 seconds shy. Fit for me was good. Snug in the heel and mid foot, just enough room in the toes. Looking forward to racing in these again.

Very good. Very light to use with almost no weight but with a lot of cushion and very good traction. Only thing is it doesn ’ t contain lots of stability so that ’s something to take in consideration if you have weak ankles. But all in all very good shoe and would recommend.
