We have 10 of these and use them all the time. Every good coach knows he must always practice basic fundamentals and this is a core component to our practices. We use them for ground ball and popup practices. Our boys square in front of the ball and use the alligator hand approach on grounds in games and two hands during pop ups. A fun thing we do at the end of practice is use a softball sized foam ball, softhands and regular composite bats. Split the boys into two teams and play a game at the end of practice. Bought this probably about a month ago for blitzball use in a pinch. It has taken no damage from full speed blitzballs, so not sure how anyone could break this unless using a official baseball. The Che took about an hour to set up, and the machine took 5 minutes. You do need to buy the pitching machine balls, but it's worth it. I use it about everyday if it's nice out. Love it, having tons of fun with this. Been teaching my girlfriend and my friend how to throw different pitches, and it really helps to have a net that fields to back to you, like this. It comes with 4 lawn stakes, go and buy like 4 more, they are super inexpensive and will help it from tipping over if you accidentally hit on the very top. Only other downside it the screws provided, they will get damaged, I have been using this for about 60 hours now and still have n't broken them, but it's starting to strip the screws provided. But that also is a inexpensive fix to be honest for when it does eventually break the bolt

This Pitching machine was bought for my Grandsons( ages 11& 7) Both boys play on leagues in the summer. This was bought to practice with in the off season. The description is very accurate. It is a very well built, solid machine. Easy to put together& store. The boys are loving it. I believe it was not recommended for the age of 7 but it challenges him and he does well with it. I would buy it again

Heater over delivered on the Heater Pro Curveball Pitching Machine, it's the single best single wheel real baseball pitching machine I have ever seen. Before delivery I was somewhat skeptical but I was impressed immediately with the construction and the easy of assembly, I fired the first ball out my front door 15 minutes after it was delivered. I will say this, speed 10, 50 MPH at 46- 50 feet is going to overpower most kids under 12, it seems more like a mid 80's pitch from that range so if you have a small cage 50 foot or smaller this is your ideal machine as the kids wo n't outgrow it for a few years. I 've shown this to several coaches and they all said the same that it throws much harder than what it advertises. Great machine and the price is fantastic.

We bought this for our daughter to practice throwing and catching and it has been great for the whole family. We use softballs for practice and it is standing the test of time with no problems. Putting it together was a team effort because it is a tight fit but that is the point of the flyback. Would definitely recommend!
