I normally carry around a stainless steel 25 oz. water bottle on my backpack and around in the car but it was a bit of a hassle for the gym. I ordered this bottle for that purpose and it fit the bill. I can mix in Amino Acid powder and drink easily from it. The cap arm has tension to hold it back when drinking and the handle is excellent. The rubber base is a great feature as well for stability when standing it up but it does n't fit in the car cup holder, the only downside. The texture on the cap is easy to grip. I 'm quite satisfied with my purchase.

I read the reviews before purchasing and almost went with the older model even though I really liked the color options and silicone bumper included with this one. Reviews said that the bottle sweated a lot and that the new ice blocker spout prevented water from flowing and the cap from being cleaned properly. None of that is true for me. Water flows just as it does from any other bottle I 've owned( perhaps even better than from my hydroflask lid) and the cap is super easy to clean. I love the silicone bumper, and especially love the carrying handle( makes multi tasking and taking it on walks super easy). I dislike drinking cold water so was searching for a plastic water bottle that was still environmentally- friendly( previously had a KOR water bottle) and this one fits the bill. It definitely does n't sweat more than my other bottle and it is absolutely leak- proof. I already had a Stanley 24 ounce Quick Flip Go Water Bottle in another color. When I saw a yellow one I had to buy it. I use this bottle for my hot beverage every morning. It's the right size( 24 oz.) for me and keeps my beverage hot for several hours. The water bottle is also durable. This thing is exactly what the doctor ordered! The lockable flip top without that stupid straw thingy is weirdly hard to find anymore! Most have a screw top which impedes single handed use. Also, I love the sleek hanging handle- fantastic for a carabineer or lanyard. I hunted high& low for one of these to fit my Hyundai's cupholder( which I think is about 1/4 '' less than industry standard, oddly?) and this thing is an absolute unit of perfection. I used this product for travel and loved having it- it's so handy to be able to filter water anywhere on the go and pour it into other vessels or add electrolytes to the bottle. The one tricky thing was getting used to all the different pieces and how they fit together, I had multiple mishaps where the entire bottle spilled or leaked in my bag or on the plane. One I fully understood how all the pieces fit together and was able to make sure that each piece was properly screwed on etc, I did n't seem to have the problem. It does leak when under pressure though, either from electrolytes that fizz or from the pressure on an airplane.

I recently went on a backpacking trip to Sykes hot springs in Big Sur where I knew that 1. 5 L water bottle is the minimum size I needed. I did n't want to carry a large collapsible bottle so I took this 2 L one with me. It's so easy and convenient to fill this one in streams/ rivers you can hold a bottle by the side handle and due to the wide 42 mm opening it's a breeze to fill in water there. I then clip a combo of different adapters: hydrapak Plug and Play adapter, hydrapak filter adapter, filter from peakgravity, and sawyer sp 150 coupling. Then I attach it to plastic water bottle and leave it or press on the bottle to speed up a process a little bit. So far this is a very convenient way to filter the water for me. Maybe not super fast but I feel safe with this setup.
