The shoe is a little tight in the toe box but after several wearings, it feels fine I have a wider forefoot than normal. Actually I can wear a half size larger but would need a thicker socks. I am a tweener between a 9 and 9 1/2 and can actually wear both sizes. The grip on the bottom of the shoes is phenomenal. This sandal needs to be a `` core '' item. I wear regular size 8 in open toe sandals. This footbed cradles my feet. This footbed is perfectly contoured to support my foot including arch.
