I have not got to use this insulated tube since I bought it, however, I know that it will allow me to use my camelbak system in temperatures below freezing. I ’ ll review again next winter when I take it to temperatures closer to zero.

I recently purchased the insulated tube for my Camelbak set up, as it wasn ’ t available some years ago when I first purchased my Camelbak items. I am an avid motorcyclist and ride cross the country during the summer. I have an insulated cooler that I store the reservoirs in and run the drinking tube out through a port, and up to my helmet so I can drink as I ride. The insulated tube has made a big difference in keeping the water cool from the cooler to the bite valve near my helmet. Great addition to my set up and the Camelbak product line!!!
