Went to skiing for the first time and these gloves are phenomenal. Extra straps keeps them in place when you take them off for any reason. The tips of the gloves are touch screen compatible, used them on my android and iOS device with no issues. The battery life last longer than I expected, my only thing is there seems to be a slight tightness in the knuckles but not too bad. I have the xl's. I 'd recommend this item to anyone. These gloves are great for biking! I 've used them on around 20 bike rides this year and it has made my winter rides so much more enjoyable. First, some background. My hands get painfully cold when biking below 40 degrees. I would wear a set of glove liners underneath my ski gloves, yet my fingertips would become painful after about 30 minutes. My riding style is a road bike, averaging 13- 15 mph for 1 to 2 hours, with intervals of 20- 25 mph on downhill slopes. I even tried chemical warmers( my ski gloves had a pocket for them), but no luck. These gloves just solve the problem. They have plenty of dexterity for operating the shifters, brakes, buttons on my bike's lights, etc. The batteries are n't uncomfortable at all- after 2 minutes I hardly know that they are there. Most importantly, my fingertips stay just fine during the ride. When the temp is 32- 35, I stay on high setting the entire ride. When the temp is 35- 40, I stay on high for 15 mins and then drop to medium. The gloves are good enough without battery heat between 45- 50. Above 50, the gloves are too hot to wear even with their heaters off. Some tips, if you buy these gloves. 1. I pre- warm the gloves for 5 minutes on high before each ride. 2. Do n't expect your hands to feel toasty warm when you are riding at 12- 15 mph and 32 degrees. They will feel slightly cool, but not uncomfortable. 3. The gloves feel very stiff when new. Do n't panic. After 5 or so rides, they soften up and feel soooo comfortable! 4. I charge my glove's batteries after every ride. It takes several hours to charge them each time. This is no big deal for me. 5. I do n't know how long the batteries will keep the gloves warm. I 've never had a problem. I 've probably kept the gloves on high for a maximum of 75 minutes( typically 15- 45 mins).
